Is is bad that I really like Jones and really dislike Evans yet I was hopping Evans would win?

Surely Jones cant fight at 205 for to much longer he seems to be getting bigger

event was excellent, stayed up watched the entire event... some decent knockouts and fights.

I was disapointed with Rashad, but hes been real classy in his loss saying the long range and kicks, he has said hes a champion for sure.

Ufcs confirmed Dan henderson is up next.... and that will be a short night for him, no one can compete with Jon Jones the guy needs to beat hendo and perhaps move to the right weight class as in heavy weight that way hes fighting giant 6.4" tall guys like himself.... either that or rematch with shogun and machida and rashad all over again which will be boring and to easy for him!

Either way a great night, knew mark the machine while hes excellent theres a chance his chin is suspect after all those wars hes been in and yagins a tough brawler with good chin and base... and had a feeling rothwell would get the better of brendans weak glass jaw, matching him with a guy with a good chin and brawler is always a bad idea lol

Just seen a clip of the post fight conference. I guess Jones jabbed the **** out of Evans, the differences between the faces couldn't be any more severe  Jones doesn't look like he got hit where as Evans is swoooooooollen.

Is it just me or has Ben Rothwell lost a ton of weight/fat? I felt he was always going to overcome Schaub though, as we all know that Schaub is seriously chinny to the point that I'm starting to wonder if he has a future in the UFC at all.

Was a bit gutted at the Che Mills fight but Rory was just a step above, and once again proved it. Mills did land some stonking leg kicks at the beginning of the fight but once Rory got that takedown is was all over, I think the kid is ready for a big step up... rematch with Conduit anybody?

Jones once again proved that he is the best in the division, Rashad tagged him a couple of times but Jones was smart, kept Evans at range and towards the end of the fight really started to put the beating on him. H-bomb Hendo up next for Jones, I dont see Hendo being able to win that but I've doubted him before and he has proved me wrong so I guess that time will tell.

Jones just looks like hes in another weight class, that body frame and long limbs and hes got a style that works and no one can solve the reach.

No ones gonna beat him not even a h bomb, hopefully after hendo last 1 round with him he moves to heavyweight and faces guys that are taller and bigger then he is.

Torres, well I noticed he was a major favorite but looking at his past fights and after his loss he was fighting to win... and way to careful, micheal said the same thing and hes a finisher and good all rounder so was thinking he would win and he did, no idea where torres goes from here that loss was nasty he has to change his gameplan no doubt lets hope hes a bit like his old self.

Che mills yeah shame his take down defense and grappling/wrestling was not on the same level, always felt in his past fights he was doing good but did not see too much grappling in volved, guess when rory felt his power he went into take down and win mode.

Jones' reach advantage is a joke to be honest, pretty much makes the 205 division completely uncompetitive where the belt is considered.....

Don't see anyone beating him, the range difference is too difficult for anyone to overcome, especially when you consider his wrestling base as well. Rashad just couldn't get close enough to really mount any significant attack.

He needs to move up, pointless staying there imo.

As for Hendo up next ... lol, really? A previous 185'er against arguably a heavyweight. Way to go UFC.

Rashad got sucked in to Jones gameplan like everyone seems to do. You have to constantly pressure him and clinch against the cage for any chance of a win against Jones at all. His reach is too big to stand on the outside as he can hit you from feet away without you getting close.

Someone needs to go in and constantly pressure him the way Chael did with Anderson to have any chance at all. He will have to move up to heavyweight soon as he's just too big and lanky for any 205 fighters to have a chance really.

Dan is an awesome fighter, one of the best ever but he's just too old now and unless he just goes in and pressures jones against the cage then he will have no chance. He does however have massive knockout power and an amazing chin so even with the age and size difference it will still be a good fight. You need someone with great wrestling and to stick to a game plan to beat Jones.

I was shouting at the TV all night when Rashad kept putting his hands out to reach Jones only to eat an elbow.

And you don't think thats Henderson? Lets not forget Dan Henderson is a 2 x Olympian for the US wrestling team, he knows his stuff.

If he can't hold down Anderson who's base is not wrestling and is smaller than Jones I don't see him being able to hold down Jones.

Dan is one of my all time idols but I don't see him being able to take down Jones when he wants. He got out wrestled by Jake Sheilds who is a lot smaller.

was gonna say dans good at grappling with his greco style, but wrestling he has not really used to his advantage in his more recent fights... he prefers the stand and bang approach.

jake shields wrestling got him easily... so can anyone for that matter, no one is going to pressure jones coming face to face with a guy whos just another weight class above you and that tall will make u move backwards. Who really wants to get in a clinch or grapple with jones either the guys never been taken down for that reason.

I see hendo looking worser then shogun after jj demolishes his chin and legs and body to a pulp... look for hendo to retire afterwards.

Its clear jj needs to leave that weight class his reach and size is giving him a almost cheating advantage over everyone in the division. Imagine if jj was not there ? You would have machida/shogun/hendo/rashad fighting each other a lot hell even rampage maybe winning some lol

Over the years MMA is getting more predictable, many fighters are dropping weight classes by 2-3x to there NOT normal weight class and using that power/size for the advantage... and its working well for many... I did not see this untill ben henderson beat frankie edgar, the guy looked another weight class above u just have to ask bjpenn wtf happen....

No licence he can re apply in 9 months, I don't suppose Dana is happy with him but I doubt his career is over, bet he still gets a title shot.

He will bring in money.

He isn't the first or the last to get caught.

overeem will be back, am sure they will make a ufc to end the year again on a high note last years was the overeem and brock outing, they may not give overeem the main fight but knowing dana he will perhaps give him one more shot due to the ppv he will bring in, hes still a very big name and bigger then most guys in heavyweight ufc.

maybe he fights for no 1 contender spot or at the champ will see.

Well one week to go till we see Nate diaz outbox jim miller or will it be jim miller wrestle and put nate on his back....
