Khabib is a boring fighter. I accept it's part of the game, but wrestling is boring as *** with the exception of RNC. Watching a Khabib fight is like watching a DC fight.

Wrestlers can be boring, Khabib is on another level and IMO amazing to watch.

I'd find how Conor avoids Khabib's wrestling/mauling interesting.

As for Conor for the GOAT, no one is on TRT Vitor's level :D

Agree McGregor needs to actually defend a title before he is even in the same sentence as some of the fighters mentioned - there is that saying that you aren't a champion until you've defended your title - Bipsing won his title in June and has defended it already - Conor has had his Featherweight title and hasn't even come close to defending it yet!

I'm no fan of the lighter weight classes but Mighty Mouse is hands down the most dominant fighter in the UFC atm!

Khabib looked great - he dismantled Johnson with ease - a matchup with McGregor should be a cracker!

@John_Kavanagh tells @arielhelwani that Nate Diaz is the 2nd best 155lbs fighter and the trilogy fight with McGregor would interest him most

oh dear me - UFC have got themselves into a right mess with the 145lb division. Unless the force a rematch/strip the belt, it looks like McGregor will go for another fight with Diaz before even considering what to do at 145lb. That's a joke for the 145lb fighters.

I'd also like to see him be forced into a 145lb matchup as his next fight.
Aldo then Khabib/Ferguson....after that we can see about a rubber match with Nate.

Nate Diaz is nowhere near the 2nd best 155 fighter, they just want money. Both the Diaz bros are great fighters, but there is basically a blueprint to beating them.

Don't brawl with them, frustrate them by controlling the distance and use leg kicks.

I'd rather he defend his 145 belt than anything, the UFC has been letting him do whatever he wants for too long and it's becoming a bit of a joke.

Would be quite amusing if he loses it on the first defence.

The problem is the UFC have given too much star billing to Conor that he basically controls who he fights next. I personally think there is no way he will go back to 145lb ever.....It's way to draining for him to get there weight wise. He's clear out he division what's in it for him to go back there.

Aldo again?? Hollway? Edgar?? I think they are all easy wins for him so in reality nothing that is particularlly sellable as a fight for the UFC.

Much more at 155lb - Diaz again, Ferguson, Khalib, Dos Anjos etc - Wouldbn surprise me if he chances it at 170lb again !!

They should take the belt off of him then.

I think he wants to hang onto it, just in case he loses his 155lb belt which to be fair, Diaz, Khabib and Ferguson could all potentially beat him. They are all more dangerous than Alvarez imo, who I hate the saying but it is applicable "got a lucky punch" on RDA and got the belt.

I know he wanted to hit him and he did, but i think RDA wins that fight 9/10, I look at this like GSP losing to Serra.

I really hope they don't let him get an instant shot at 170lb, I think Dana has said there is a rematch for Wonderboy anyway, but until it's official who knows!

I agree the UFC have given him too much power and I definitely agree that he looks better at 155 - but to say he's cleaned out the division is a bit of a joke - of the UFC's current top 15 ranked featherweight fighters, he's fought precisely two - with one being a 13 second contest!

I'm an advocate of the saying - you aren't a true champion until you've defended your title - and for me McGregor will never defend the 145lb belt!

Don't get me wrong, I think he could clean out the division but until he's beaten Edgar, Pettis, Stephens, Oliveira etc, he's no right to say he's been a dominant champion!

I can think of 4 off the top of my head that should be in the top 15; Aldo, Holloway, Mendes, Poirier.

Mendes might've been removed for juicing, and Poirier is now a LW but they are both solid FW fighters (Mendes top 5, Poirier top 15 easily).

Siver was probably ranked in the top 15 when he fought him.

I'm not saying the guys he has beaten were cans - I'm just pointing out that in no way has he "cleaned out the division"

At this point however I'd settle for a single defence of the 145 title - it's really gonna irk me if he chooses (and yes, he simply will get to choose!) to either challenge for another title or go for the rubber match with Diaz!

You've made history - be satisfied and free up the 145lb division by vacating the belt! (I'm sure that will **** Aldo off more than anything so it's a win-win for Conor!)

I doubt he will ever fight at 145 again tbh, he always looks incredibly gaunt at that weight so you can tell how much of a chore it must be for him.

I think it'll be 155 or 170 from here on out, which is fine, but he should vacate if that's the case.

I don't think he is big enough to truly be a force at 170lbs.

Could he win fights, of course he could he has a dynamite left. But if he faces people that can take that left, ala Diaz. He has to be able to take out what they are dishing, and re inflated WW's are probably 185-190lbs on fight night.

155lbs is definitely the sweet spot for him and the class he belongs IMO.

Fully agree with this - he looks almost gaunt at 145 and Woodley looks like he'd eat something the size of McGregor for breakfast!

I just hope he vacates the 145lb belt before he takes the time off to be a dad! Otherwise the FW division is going to be on hold for even longer!

100% Agree with this.

It was 14 months before they stripped Frank Mir of his belt, due to his motorbike accident.

He physically couldn't defend his belt, Conor has no such excuse. Give it up or defend it arrghhhh.

Khabib is a beast, he gets hit a little too much but Johnson is no joke on the feet, has power too which means Khabib can take a shot.

I didn't think he looked wobbled at all when Rogan kept saying how rocked he was.

He definitely has a decent chin, Johnson hits hard and fast.
