Wow, I had him down to win but not to absolutely demolish him and not get touched. Seemed like every punch landed, looked totally calm in all the exchanges.

Don't think him getting the belt is all that silly on this form.

Glad I recorded it so I could skip through all the bootlicking cringe. Christ it's awful.

Good event last night bar the insufferable levels of verbal felatio directed towards Trump.

Anik must feel like such a **** having to suck him off every event, North Korea style lol

Also Pitbull needs to rebrand to Poodle.

Looked like michel pereira had an complete off night and wasn't there, while prates needs to stop smoking.

Randy brown and Dalby deserve their bonus, they could have easily been co main, if not main event with those performances.

Agree onm Pereira. Pretty good card overall I thought, some good fights. I do like Garry.
Anthony Smith has finally retired about 5 fights too late, warrior though.

Smith, a warrior? He is a bad fighter and he is delusional. This video from what is imo one of the best non-nonsense MMA Youtubers explains why he was treated so well by the UFC during the last years when anyone else with his woeful performances would have been cut.

Company man gets treated well by UFC. Shock.

Very impressed with Garry, can't bloody stand him but guys got some serious skills.
I've yet to catch up on his win vs Pratas over the weekend but I've seen the rest of his fights and he is very good.

In my opinion if he can tighten up his finishing when he's in advantageous positions he's going to be a massive problem for that division - His ability to neutralise his opponents is elite.

He is very skilled but he is definitely not an 'exciting' fighter and he often goes to a decision. He plays it very safe and I don't think he would be a big draw as a champion especially as he is so cringe-worthy and unlikable.

Remember the what?
Oh yeah, remember the surprisingly good fight in which you lost your belt.

Enjoyed that main event.
Also, anyone else think Aldo got robbed? He won 1 and 2 for me.

Yeah I had Also winning 1 and 2.

Amazing how he just instantly gassed after trying to get that finish, like his body completely gave up on him.

38 year old, 21 year career, still dropping to a weight class below where he should be, even his retirement post points towards the weight cut affecting him too much.
But he did also control the pace for 12 mins of the fight, was pure speed and power.

Man I am going to miss Aldo, been a fan since 2009 :'(
