L1 FKs with IF Hulk are Frosties great :D

Any recommendations on Frenchy STs and CAM? Guess wide men will have to be Ribery and SIF Arfa!

Ta mate, seems much of a muchness up front between Remy, Gameiro, UP Benzema and Cisse. Leaning towards Remy and UP Benzema I guess - unsure what their IFs are like

I have picked up NIF Menez to try him out before I fork out for the SIF. Why the heck is IF Afra still so expensive?!? :(

Wow, I'm some kind of abuse magnet :-/ one guy put his pad down at 3-0 down :-/ then sent a message saying 'boring custom tactics play'. I was playing regular 352, havent changed a single thing... What is 'custom tactics play'?? I.e. what would make him think that?

Another **** went 1-0 up at 15 minutes then shut up shop, passing it around the defence etc. ****.

Remy and Benz is a good combo I reckon. Have played with SIF (I think) Gameiro and seemed too inconsistent, maybe it was just me. Overall pretty good though all round.

Cisse is a machine, as you know!

Must admit Ive been a bit of a ****** tonight - so much so that every penalty I get now I score with my GK to rub it in :p. Very rarely get abuse, but I do tend to skip celebs and replays most of the time, which I guess helps...

Hmmm I cant remember much about Cisse other than dont finesse with him and like UP Ba he isnt the best dribbler in the world. Just trying to keep it cheap so Remy and UP Benzema would be ideal (my GK, defence and CDMs have cost me 9k in all :p), though Im sure Ill waste more coin on the attacking half of my squad hoping IFs work better (SIF Remy with IF Benzema maybe)

Well, he's not the best dribbler but he's so strong, will run through a brick wall. Has a really powerful shot, and is pretty accurate from almost anywhere, and also a rather good header. Exceptional for his price (something like 1k iirc??). I don't remember having much of an issue finessing with him either :-s he's mainly useful for charging into the box and nailing it. Kind of like a less refined Adebayor (speaking of which, I'm still loving SIF Adebayor).

But yeah definitely Remy, others have better stats but I think I said before, he's like a French Agbonlahor, and way better. I hate playing against Remy... Lol.

Sakho is solid. You don't need pace when you are in posistion. Mangala seems to chase more than defend I find.

Same with Abidal over Clichy. Clichy is good but does a lot of chasing while Abidal doesn't.

My Gerrard didn't sell at 15k. What is going on? He is 3-4-2-1 CAM but surely at 15k he should sell. I guess people don't want to convert him back to CM since that costs like 7-8k.

Wonder what TOTW will be tonight? All Euro totw?

Yeah had the same experience playing against Remy - hes rather slippery and has an ok header to boot - hes a cross between Pato and Gaby for me...

Completely forgot about Abidal - he could make a good CB. Ill definitely try Sakho and M'Bia as no one here seems to think Mangala would make a great CCB.

Your Gerrard kinda has a lot against him if hes not in the right position for his formation (which isnt that desirable neither). Hes gone super cheap as I recently picked up a CDM version for not much more than what you are selling him at...

Thats mental :confused: - saved me coin to use on over-rated SIF Arfa then! Though its tempting to make a silly cheap French team (ignoring Ribery it could be under 20k :eek: )

NIF Remy is proper decent, shoots much better than you expect someone with 70 shooting to.

What formation are you planning?

ps. if it's a french team you want, note that M'Bia is from Cameroon ;)

I originally decided this, but wanted to just try a cheap version after getting burned with that 3421 idea I played you with. Now Im liking the idea of a uber cheap team - something like:

Remy - Cisse/UP Benzema
Ribery - Menez - Ben Arfa
Sissokho - UP M'Vila
Fanni - M'Bia/Sakho - UP Mangala
Lloris

Cheap as chips :). M'Bia is in there just as a temp solution, but might end up staying...

Not bad :)

Would suggest Sagna as a potential CB too - doesn't have a High AWR and is tall-ish and better than Fanni (teehee)

With Remy/Cisse in middle wouldn't you prefer 1 winger who can cross? Although Ribery+SIF Barfa aren't a bad combo :cool:
