nope, im still not sure what your having trouble with mate, the distance jockeying is exactly the same as fifa 11, LT, RT and LB to change player, so im not sure sure how your having trouble :(, the only thing thats different is the A for close distance jockeying.
 
Loving the impact engine too...


Agree with the tackling, really changed a lot and taking a lot of getting used to.

Things I really like.

Subs on the team sheet during the start... Hope they have that for UT!

Being able to save any goal in the game and not just the first half like in fifa 11.

presentation is cleaner.

Gameplay is slower and feels more tacticle.

Crowd looks better.

quick throw ins and subs.

impact engine is funny

things I hate

the play by play. Its still awful.

Shame they didn't change Nasri and Fab.
 
what i love is that you can leave flicks and turns at whatever angle you want, doing flicks and turns on fifa11 was too predictable, because you could either go one way or another, but now theres no limits.

Not had many impact-replays yet aside from Messi going flying, but don't think anyone touched him... :D

Turned on legacy defending for now, I'm not a Octopus!
 
I've played 4 games now. Won 1 in normal time, 2 after pens and lost one (decided to play Milan v Barca on World class, with new defending on my 1st game - demolition).

I like the feeling of the game. However, what advantage does tactical defending have over Legacy defending?

I'm perfectly OK with the old style of defending, and it was effective. So why should I use tactical. I'll just leave it off, shall I?

i doubt youll be able to change it online.

they didnt put it in to 'stop' anything, its a improvement to the defending, as holding 'A' used to give you the 3 outcomes....Tackling...Fouling.....missing the ball and player completely and looking like a pleb.

'A' now actualy gives you some controll of whats going on, when your trying to close down a player in fifa11, running behind them allways gave a foul, but now with 'A' keeping distance and 'B' to pull there shirt back, its just awesome.

Really liking it but feel they could have changed so much more.

Still a lot of the same recycled stuff in there and small animation errors ect.

PC version looks amazing but will probably get this on the ps3 because the ps3 pad is much better for fifa imo.
