I still go by that weak players are mostly useless in this game unless you play a certain way. I don't care if a player has 99 on 10 of his in game stats, if his strength is below 40, you will struggle.

I think strength isn't a problem if they play as wingers or if they are a striker with two up top and you through ball and allow them to use pace to get on to the ball. I have Kagawa in CAM in 3-5-2 so he really needs strength and agility to manoeuvre. I changed him to RM and Arfa as CAM during the game and Kagawa actually did a lot better. I agree that Kagawa's shot is terrible, he takes too long to shoot so he ends up getting tackled. :mad:
 
currently got kompany as the middle CB in 352, was thinking about trying terry or IF samba!!!

kompany has sometime been easily beaten in the air and watching the reply he hasn't even jumped for the ball!

Thats what I mean by "if you play a certain way." Weak players are fine on the wing or as wide cams when they have more space, but if they get surrouned through the middle, they just get butt munched 90% of the time.

Or if you are an amazing skiller and just breeze by people... like a lot of Brazil teams. :mad:

One of the best defenders in the game. I played 100 games with Terry/Rio and they were solid. Owned the air. Just have pacey full backs to cover them... Play smart and don't fall for the 1-2 lob/through ball noobies. ;)

Only his TOTY card is worth spending coin on over his NIF. His TOTY card is one of the best in the game. I played a good 40 games with him but sold him while he was still around 500-600k.

Felt like cheating at times. Some of these TOTY cards make the game so unbalanced.

Team GB sold after two games, just didn't work. Cleverley can't dribble, Bellamy is poo, hate the way Sturridge plays and the keeper is hilarious.

On the bright side, finally figured out how to play with Kagawa as a CAM in 3-5-2. He can dribble really well if he doesn't sprint, if he's sprint you better hope you can run straight through the defence. :p
 
I hate 4321 - 433 seems so much better as wingers can actually receive the ball in space. In 4321 they are always tightly marked by defenders.

Then again I'm not actually a massive fan of 41212 either...
 
Erm, it's come up before but I think Ribery is better, not had the IF Lavezzi but seeing as it is only one OVR upgrade I can't imagine it's a huuuuge difference.
