See now you're giving me second thoughts! I'll have to add you and we can get friendlies going when you manage to find somewhere that has it in stock. Oh, do Spain as a nation still have the worst defenders ever? Apart from the outrageously expensive Sergio Ramos I mean. :p
 
Also Abidal was OK and did his job which was DEFEND in Fifa 12 unlike marcello!

Edit times like this we need physcosonnny to tell us about Full backs height etc etc
 
So how can you do UT without spending money???

Had two TERRIBLE games with my default bronze team and am worried this is the worst thing ever taking on people who have clearly spent a tenner on a gold andy johnstone :(

You should just spend like a tenner on packs, you're bound to get someone half decent to sell on otherwise it's going to be a slog. You can try buying players for their discard price, use them for the duration of their contract and then discard them, that can save you a bit of money. Erm, you could trade on the market when you get a couple thousand coins, grind against the CPU too.

Yeah add me, I can't keep count of various accounts you have. :p Yeah I believe Spain still does although it could change if "speed" isn't as important. I'm still unconvinced by that though. I'll be using BPL team again, just need one more striker and either Oxlade-Chamberlain or McClean and I'm done.
 
Guys I don't want to sound cheeky and I understand if no one does but is there any chance any of you guys with already awesome teams loaning a few of their cheap golds to me?

I have started UT with the usual bronze team and I am getting destroyed online and barely drawing offline!

I have not got any gifts from the web app so I am starting with basically a bronze mix team and 700coins.

When I can I will pay you for letting me use them.

Urgh I refuse to pay more on a game I spent £35 on :( that's the most I have spent on a game in ages!

Slog it is I guess, buying a few surprise golds for a few hundred coins to build fast is the best option....

Have though just forced out my first win out of pure grit, determination and defensive discipline :D only 2 gold players and one silver to my team, come on you cunning stunts
 
Warning guys!

Don't know if this is the same for the Xbox as well but on the PS3 the 2200 Fifa Points are a RIP-OFF!! It costs double the price of the 1575 set and you only get 625 more points. Think EA have made a blunder here, it doesn't make any sense! Reckon it should be 3200 TBH and it's a mess-up.

You can earn a free gold pack by going to squads > manager tasks and doing the 12 tasks - most of them you will have probably done anyhow. Might help a little...
