Ive not played a Fifa game in years, can someone tell me why every time I shoot, the player attempts to chip the ball??
How do I do a straight forward power shot?
Ive got the controller on PS3 set to Square is lob pass and Circle is "Shoot" Any tips?
Its infuriating when im having a shot on goal and he buggers it up by chipping it every time

Are you holding down the chip button? I suggest you play some shooting skill games.
Not holding down chip button literally just directing it and pressing circle
ive tried various different power shots as I thought maybe you had to hit a 'sweet spot' or something and they all do the same
Maybe my controller is broken, cause saying that I have noticed if I leave my menu open its randomly scrolled half way down ?
Ill try a new controller and see if that solves

Who is in your midfield. You need a good cdm/cm player with high heading stats... or is really tall.
I use Bayern, since I can't be bothered with UT bugging me atm.
Do you press the button just before it lands or what?

This is starting to get annoying
Also 4-5-1 is no good , to open and conceding loads of goals.

I do not watch football, football bores me to death. But I have gone out and bought this today to prove to my uncle who's religion is FIFA, that I can beat him on a game I have never played.
Well I tell I lie I use to love FIFA 96-97-98 but never touched a FIFA since.

What does the CFC stand for, if you're not a football fan? I'd assume Chelsea FC normally...

Have to say that BPL players are really OP. Mario, Sturridge, Luiz ect play better than their ratings suggest.
