*** The Official FIFA 13 Thread ***

Talked to some manager at ea support and they said my account was investigated by EA and banned for using the web app exploit and there is 0 chance of getting my account back.

How could they make this mistake? Why would they think I used the exploit? I traded a few Sturridges and bought a team and that was all I did with the web app.

I just don't understand this at all.

So none of the cards you traded were acquired using the exploit?

Rob you're taking this too well. If they did that to me I'd be up in arms and not buying another EA game again. Are you sure you're innocent? :p

Hmm, not sure as to which formation to start buying players for...

Played 4-3-2-1 in Fut 12, Would like 4-1-2-1-2, but im guessing prices will be higher as per last Fifa?

100% innocent.

I guess I am taking it like this is because Fifa 12 is over and I can just make another account for Fifa 13. Only means buying the season pass again which really annoys me. I asked if I could get a refund and they said no.

I am going to phone a few more times and see what other answers I get.

I basically had to tell them what my UT team was, the players I had in the team, my online record and how many trophies I had. A little embarrassing telling them my team name was "Pancake FC". :D

unlucky then, is the account banned for fut 12 as well?

Reading posts on other forums, it appears the ban prevents the gamertag from using any EA games not just FIFA.

I would ask them for proof that the gamertag involved was indeed using some sort of glitch/cheat.
I find it hard to believe that they can just ban someone and not reactivate the account if it was done by accident.

The guy said there is no way for him to lift the ban. It said he wasn't high enough. I did ask for proof and he just said he wasn't high enough.

What a load of crap. He actually talked to me like some sort of criminal.

I'd be spitting fire... I worked in customer services and if someone wanted something and bugged us enough they eventually got their way. Just don't stop, use forums, email and telephone, bombard them and eventually you'll get passed to someone who just wants you to go away and you'll get what you want.

Robert

I would call EA and advise them that they experienced issues of people been logged into the wrong accounts when trying to access the FUT13 web application. This issue was noted on this forum and also on the official EA forums.

Due to this issue it could be possible that someone logged into your account and did indeed run some type of exploit/cheat, which would appear to have been you.

It would be in their best intrest to reactivate the account or you could speak to watchdog or some other company about a possible security breach with multiple accounts and that EA have not notified the user's involved that had been brached.

they have all been banned for Fifa 12 glitching? not Fifa 13?

The threads I posted were people getting their origin accounts banned for the fifa 13 web app glitch when most of them don't even play fifa.

Calling customer support seems pretty pointless right now. I guess I should just wait and see what response EA give for all these false bans.

I don't think anyone hacked into my account as the guy I was talking to said my fifa 12 UT team was still there.

Not saying this is anybody on these forums or to anybody personally, but some people will just post bs because they're angry they got caught...
