No problem you helped me enough times working how to play fifa when I first started, good to be able to return the favour.

Just make sure your a new customer as that code only works if you are.

Daft thing is i'm sticking with shopto.net with my pre order as they basically guarantee Friday delivery, with my mrs been away that weekend i'd be gutted if it didn't arrive for that weekend.

I'm hoping shopto reduce the price nearer the time.

New "FIFA Points" currency, previously only in PC FUT, comes to console for Ultimate Team
Packs in Ultimate Team will be purchased by Coins or FIFA Points only.
FIFA Points can be purchased in different amounts using Microsoft Points (Xbox 360) or your PSN Wallet (PS3).
FIFA Points let you to buy packs via MSP & PSN Wallet from the web app and the EASFC mobile App.
FIFA Points are universal to the FIFA13 ecosystem, you can purchase packs via FIFA Points on the FUT Web App and the EASFC mobile app.

Ultimate Team has always amused me, paying (sometimes silly amounts of money) to play a game you've already bought, bonkers.

Yeah you could say it's like any other DLC, but it's just a game mode so it's funny the one people get most invested in is also a huge money sink.

Anyway, trailer looks decent, will give the demo a shot as always. Don't think there's a chance in hell of it making me choose FIFA over PES 2013, but I'll give it a fair go to convince me.

You're not forced to spend money but people aren't patient and want top teams ASAP. Just like real life and why people just use credit all the time.

Looking forward to this now, gonna be immense :)

So, we spend £20 on fifa points and then we spend the fifa points on packs? thats actually a good idea as going through the psn purchse system takes forever when buying packs.

How is that a good idea? Do you really buy that many packs you cant spend the 5seconds to buy a pack?

Personally as I stated above its a stupid idea engineered to allow EA to take even further cream off the top, by allowing them to standardise pack pricing against FIFA points, but then allows them to change the real monetary value of those points by changing th exchange rate between FIFA points and MSP/PSN. Thats a real recipe to dup people to buying packs and not realising what the actual MSP/PSN cost is :/, just like when you go on holiday and guesstimate the value of things or just forget and then get ripped off...

You are right it was in Fifa 12 but it only appeared in offline games which is what they are playing the KSI video. It would interesting if being forced to substitute a player now happens online in Fifa 13.
 
Seems like the ultimate edition is well worth it over the normal edition.

£4 extra and you get 24 gold packs. 80 MSP per pack, therefore worth 1920 MSP in total.

2100 MSP for £15.99.
