IIRC using the Online thing you have to start at the same time, and play about the same speed.

Think i did it with a friend being Utd and Chelsea.

It gets a tad boring though!
 
Short of you using VoIP or being in the same room, i cant imagine it being very exciting, probably more akin to playing against the AI.

looking for a decent WBR & DR. for reading season 1. Kinda like nicky shorey i guess, i have bought joey mattock as well. I have about 4-8m to spend i guess. (any more those players wont come to reading anyways)
 
Guys

As you may know, I have been playing in the FM Live Beta and this weekend they are giving all members 5 friends passes to get their mates involved. I have some spare passes that I am willing to make available to anyone interested.

Is there anyone here interested in participating?
 
Dave and Andy, if you email me your regular email addresses (email in trust) then as soon as the codes are released, believed to be this evening, then I can send out the invites.
 
Right guys as posted above I'm starting a league tonight with my mate, both from out own houses.

I need to beat him :D

I think I'm going to be Boro. Could I have a quick shortlist of say 5 players that I should definately bring in and that would come to the lovely Boro!

Also guys is there any data updates yet that moves teams around when they were promoted/relegated? Also transfers that have happened since January update?

Could try get Luis Jimenez, i always sign him hes amazing.

As well as that, Salvador Cabanas is a great striker for generally less than £3m.

Leonardo from Ajax, great left winger for about £400k.
 
I'll also give the offer of 5 beta spots this weekend like TwinBlades if anyone wants them. Given how much work has gone into FM Live I've no idea what FM09 is going to be like. FM Live is the nuts though, can't wait for it's final release. Send me your email addresses to my email address (in trust) if you're interested and I'll update this post when they're gone.

Syke. The beta stage of FM Live is almost at its end, in as much as the game is almost due for release. I have read suggestions that this open invitation will be the last lot of new intakes with the game due to be release August time (although nothing official on this from SI).

If you are fortunate to receive a key of either myself or Bhoya then you will get to play the actual game in Beta, obviously you need to register with the SI Games forum and participate in providing feedback on the game, and any bugs you get on there, other than that, its FM Live for free.

Given how much work has gone into FM Live I've no idea what FM09 is going to be like

The production of FM09 will not be effected. When Ov Collyer came back from travelling to create FM Live he wanted a small team of his own, completely separate from that team creating FM09 so avoid the two being too similar and one being neglected for the other. So FM09 will be released without any issues.

If you get one of my beta keys (still awaiting an email from you) then you wont play much FM08. :D

Sorry you last two, I don't know your forum name so had to quote your real names, so you three will be getting invites as and when SI release them to me.

I have one spare that it reserved for Andybtsn who requested one above, but I am awaiting an email from him, or confirmation of if he definitely still wants it.
