I hear what your saying. You could get the 'read made' RB, but its good to ask if someonewho has played a few seasons to see if they have come across any decent players.

Jesus christ, i choose a team, and half of them are youths, or 30 odd.

Given £26k to buy people, setting the expectation to title challenge.

Bought n a few random freebies, and paid for a few cheapish players.

I lost the first league game, but won the next one, which i was meant to suffer a heavy loss. So by looks of things may have built a fairly (sort of) good team for that league.

Couldnt choose which league either, was about 8 second divisions to choose from, haha.

A pretty good start, it gets harder as soon as you start collecting injuries trust me. It gets worse though when you reach the top flight and start qualifying for Europe. The last time I managed in Scandinavia and did just that it was awful. Playing random European games in the middle of our close season pretty much made it impossible to win in Europe.

I started a new game this week as Stoke and after reading this thread and picking up a few cheap signings I can highly recomend Magnus Svensson DR/DM he might be old but he has been a key player for me so far and I am sitting in 2nd place in the Championship. Also Winston Parks has been great up front.
 
Just to highlight what I said about Parks, he really came through in the playoff final for me after a poor end to my season dropping from 2nd.

Playing on 8.0.2 as Man Utd. Beat West Ham 3-0 with a goal each from Rio and Vidic. :D Set my left DC to near post flick on and the corner taker to kick the ball to that vicinity. But when I do the auto-pick FM puts Rio on the left and not Vidic who has better heading/jumping (36 total for Vidic, 31 for Rio). Still Rio got a goal and then I swapped them over and Vidic got one. :D
 
He's a great player, unfortunately I forgot to buy him in my current game. Lyon want 70 million for him :( Not as bad as Man U wanting 170 mil for Silva though :eek:)
