***The Official Galaxy Nexus ACCESSORIES Thread***

With it off the phone sure, the shiny one is the cheap tpu case, and tbh it feels like it.

That hybrid case is great, it's a rubber coated plastic shell so nice and grippy.

Fits nice too, even has a ridge for the camera.

Got any good pics?

Surely it goes in to 'dock mode'? But I assume you've tried and it doesn't then?

Hopefully it does, the docks aren't available yet.

But from connecting via usb, ac and mhl it only goes landscape with the mhl adapter plugged in.

I'd love to be wrong though.

Why would it go landscape with a usb or the power plugged in? The only of those 3 that it needs to is mhl, and it does... they've made a landscape dock, why on earth wouldn't it go landscape?

Do people just want to bash Samsung or Google these days with no thought behind what they're saying?

I'm not trying to bash anyone.

I'm just saying that I've only ever managed to get the Nexus in landscape when a hdmi plug is connected to it (and it stays landscape even when held in portrait), which seems a little odd when the hdmi dock is portrait.

Also mobilefun have videos of the hdmi and desk landscape docks in their youtube channel, the landscape dock doesn't rotate the home screen when the Nexus is docked but then again mobilefun hasn't plugged in any of their accessories so it isn't conclusive.

As I said, I'd like to be wrong.

Edit: Here are the Mobilefun pictures/videos on one page http://www.androidcentral.com/samsung-galaxy-nexus-docks-show-images-videos

Nokia CR-115

As the Official car mount isn't out till January and currently costs £50 (no way am I paying that much) I decided to go down the cheapo route. So as the Nokia CR-115 proved popular with GS2 users and the Nexus is only 1.8mm wider I ordered one at £5.88.

Can't get any pictures of it in daylight till the weekend so here they are at night.

Out of the box it's an extremely tight fit with the Nexus, but trimming down the generously sized 'cushions' allows for a better fit.

As you'd expect of a Nokia product, it's well designed and built well.

i'm looking for decent slip case with a bit of padding that i can put the phone in and chuck it in my gym bag, if anyone has a recommendation?

i think i'll get one of those desk stands when they become available. just bought a Nokia CR-115, thanks Shimmy :)
