So non biased people.

Does it blow Forza out of the water?

Tempted to get it, means buying a PS3! But I would want a wheel, but lead to beleive there isn't one that works with both yet?

No. It looks better and the physics are better however Forza beats it on the UI, sound and customisation front, imo.

After 6 years and 5 iterations of GT I was expecting something that was significantly better than Forza, but it just isn't.

Having said that it is very enjoyable and I will be playing it for the foreseeable future :D

it's a good game but i'll be going back to fm3 shortly, great PI system, better tuning, better livery editing. better ff on a wheel and i'm missing making cars and selling them. logged onto xbl last night and had 300k from my fm3 storefront waiting for me, its always giving even when im unfaithful :)

but gt5 nordshleife is a lot better than fm3, if only you could squeeze them both together, 2/3 fm3 and 1/3 gt5 would be the best racing game/sim ever :p

I am level 21 (I think) and the only event I have left at this level is the NASCAR one in Extreme series. Can anyone recommend if there is a way to win a car, or do I have to buy one of the ones from the dealerships (I think all the NASCAR ones are 500,000 and I don't know the differences between the models).

Also, I think I have (finally) returned all the cars I borrowed, if I still owe one to someone, let me know.

Erm.... is it a bug that my recently purchased 106 :)D) doesn't have an in-car view

For a game trumped as being the driving simulator, and in development for ages, it seems a bit cheap to just cut that view from this/other cars....

To play with about 30 people?

Amazed at how little people play this game online, maybe it will change if they add some structure to the online game, maybe some XP, cash, matchmaking, leaderboards etc etc

Seen a lot more than 30 people in my time. I mostly race with those on my buddy list!

Should try it!

Pretty sure only the higher detailed modelled cars have inside view.

Try what? the game is empty online anyone can see that, they need to improve it greatly with features that are pretty much common place in every online game these days.
