Will GTA5 work on the PS4? I've just put an offer in on the bay for a ps3 to tide me over, but I'm just curious. Would hate to go backwards/forwards between consoles.

No PS3 games will work on the PS4. It isn't backwards compatible.

Not yet at least, GTA V could very well work when they implement Gaikai's BC streaming.

Interesting that reviews are held off until Monday, but I sure hope no-one on this site is stupid enough to read an IGN review.

I tend to just check Metacritic for the averaged out meta score nowadays. It'll be interesting to see if GTA V knocks the current all-time most highly scored game on there off the number 1 position (which just happens to be GTA IV)

I've heard it both ways

I don't actually know the difference between a freeway and a highway, or if there is even one. I always thought a freeway was the multi-lane road similar to our motorways, with highways being similar to our A roads and dual carriage ways

If anyone's going to play this on the 360, make sure to install the second disc to the HDD too. I've been hearing there has been 'popping' issues with scenery (trees, texture overlays etc) seen in the intro when playing from disc. I haven't heard if installing to HDD remedied the problem or if it was persistent in the rest of the gameplay.

It'd be beyond advisable to install the 2nd disc, read times and noise wil ruin the game!

I didn't know anyone actually played an xbox game from the disc, it is too noisy. I went through mine last night deleted everything I didn't need anymore and now have 100Gb free so plenty of space

Still looks promising for a Monday delivery!

Also managed to get my CE dropped down to £83 with free next day delivery (although doesn't effect when I'll get it)
