This sort of thing really annoys me. Rinsing fans when they can't perform. Same with Axl Rose, out doing karaoke versions of songs. The rest of the band must wince as they take the money. I think Metallica still cut it but the likes of Coverdale are just tarnishing their legacy in my eyes as he thrust the mic stand towards the crowd so they sing the songs for him. It's a shame as the 1974 California Jam when he was a raw Yorkshire lad was one of my favourite live shows.Yes over the last couple of decades they've had to keep tuning down for him so he could reach the notes but a few years ago he put his hand up and said he can't sing any more.
It's about time Jon Bon Jovi did it instead of ripping people off.
My mates wife was streaming Bon Jovi from Manchester and I'm messaging him asking if it was as bad as I could hear on the stream, he said worse but none of the women can hear how bad it is
Mind you he also touches on it in a documentary he made last year.

I've spoken to Glenn Hughes on several occasions.
Two stories from that concert
1) He said can you remember what I was wearing, it was a white suit I bought that morning so I'd upset the Man In Black
2) When we were sound checking he called me over and said "Can you see that imaginary line that comes from Coverdale's arse to the back of the stage? You don't walk over it, that's my side". Hughes said you can see me on the concert straying into Blackmore's territory

Which is why I am glad I saw Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour, she will never be in as peak performance as she is now.
I believe they NEVER hold anything in stock despite what the website says.
oh, PMT looks to be in trouble, they are closing stores up and down the country and their stock level are very low, never have anything in stock either, so I would avoid them at the moment as well unless they actually have stock by confirming on the phone.

A friend was with a client today who had lost her husband.
She wants to sell his guitar collection but has no idea who to contact so she doesn't get ripped off.
My mate sent some pictures and I couldn't believe what was in the collection.
A proper John Higgins (Jaydee) Tony Iommi SG, this guy made them for Tony Iommi.
A quick look saw one on Reverb for £15,000.
I've offered £100

Update on the sound (acoustic) which is probably still uploading and is a little quiet:
This seems fine to me and it sounds decent now through the amp. Will measure and check the cent at a later date.
Edit: had a poke at the D string.. the E chord sounds ok now.

About 10 years ago I took my telecaster to them to get it set up. (I think it's the same guy, I was working in Birmingham at the time so it was convenient.)

I used to play in a band and the guitarist was very proud of his Jaydee and fitted fancy locking strap nuts to it.
Anyway, he was walking around with it slung around his back when the fancy new locking nut gave way, guitar fell on the floor and the headstock snapped off. He immediately burst into tears.
Me and the drummer had to go in the toilet, so he couldn't hear us laughing.
