I can easily see why it comes across like that, because this particular sub-forum is a bit of a cauldron for Apple dislike and there are plenty of unreasonable people that frequent it.

Anyway, if it's such a big issue you can all make a new thread and whine about it in there, this isn't the place.

Can anyone recommend a converter for my MKV, AVI and RMVB files to MP4 please? My Kalemsoft expired and I want to use the standard media player to play my movies on the plane! Thanks

Handbrake should do all of that.

Ok, it's very good. Streaming works well and it's fairly responsive. Worth a buy!
