The official I kinda suck at BFBC2 but play for the lolz thread

Anyone else feel completly dependant on the noob tube? I barely use it in any other game but my rifle feels so weak in BC2 that the tube is my weapon of choice.
 
I find many of the assault rifles are just fine with a 4x sight on, couple of short bursts normally takes down an enemy at a pretty good distance. As soon as you keep your mouse button pressed you loose any chance of hitting a barn door.

The only time I tend to use a tube is if a clip runs out and I'm exchanging fire with somebody, or somebody is tucked up in a building or in cover. However, there are times after being tubed half a dozen times myself in the space of minutes, where you feel that somebody deserves a 40mm to the face.
 
I still suck but I just had the most amazingly lucky game.

Was doing a rush level, forget the name of the map, and they were trying to take one of our bases. It was a pretty brutal fight so I just sat at the side of the road as a recon in some light cover and proceeded to butcher their whole team. In the space of 2-3mins I picked up 12 kills until they cottoned on and someone dropped a grenade in my lap.

They then took that checkpoint and went rushing toward the next I had respawned and sat behind their attacking line and again picked up almost another dozen kills in a few minutes.

Ended the match with something stupid like 28 kill 4 death score :D don't think I will ever be that lucky again :p

This game has really surprised me by how good it is. I'm still only private rank 2 but it's always a giggle even when I have the bad rounds 2-12 my last score :p

question though, at higher levels do you get some sort of buff toward your accuracy as a sniper? Cause I still struggle at times trying to pick people off.
 

Noob camping noob noob. 40mm grenade noobs, gustavs noobs, machine gun noobs, shotty noobs, uav noobs, c4 noobs......

Wait, isn't that everything :D:D:D

Had some good fun on the server and will pop on now. It is tricky with no map on screen but much better with no silly kill cam giving your position away.

the GOL is the only sniper rifle more acurate than the starting m24.

Hold down left click when you fire to stay scoped ans see where your bullet lands.

much easier to correct/get your eye in then.
 
Love the game, Love the game play, i can not play it for crap though.
Knifing is very strange, i think we have to learn to knife 2 seconds before the usual as we jump forward + the lag

I dont use these, magnum ammo combined with a m95 is all i use.


I've just started playing the Medic myself, even though i come out middle with K/D, usually more kills :p I was easily getting 1k more score than the second best player.

I basically just put a med kit in a group of people and ran around like a mad man reviving. :o

I find that its too based on your ping, sometimes no matter what i just cant knife people.
Although MW2 is too easy for this.
 
The starter sniper rifle is good but not the best, the Gol is the best and only becomes better with the 12x scope and spotting assist gadget =]
 
I finished unlocking all the weapons yesterday which I'm rather happy about, I was hating running around maps using classes because I needed the xp rather than because it was the best class to be using on the map. I just have to get used to using the M95 now, pretty impressed with it so far, I tried it out on a passing attack helicopter and got a headshot on the pilot :D
 
Steadily getting better, unlocking loads of stuff and not really bothering about my K/D ratio cause I suck too much for that :D

Just had a rather embarassing noob moment in my last game, ran into a shed where an enemy sniper was hiding and he didnt notice me. I laughed and stood looking at him for a few seconds gloating at my impending victory then drew my 40mm grenade. Shot at him and nearly died of shock as my round went through his legs ricocheted back off the wall and past me into the room behind me and took out a wall. :p

But the dozy sod didnt even notice so I laughed and fired again, my second shot went straight over his shoulder and out the window harmlessly blowing a chunk out a tree. He noticed then and turned round capped me just as I died I got off my last round and he went splat as well :D

Was pretty embarassing but I got him in the end :D
