The problem with politics is no one thinks past the next 4 years/ the next election. We need to revamp the rail system top to bottom. End of story. You cannot just keep patching up century old tech and make do. Look at other countries rail systems, ours is utterly pathetic in comparison.

So HS2 is a good investment? lol, it's really not. Especially when 2/3 of the country still relies on diesel rolling stock brought in in the 80s and is STILL not electrified.

Lets make the better areas even better? Biggest. Waste. Of. Public. Money. EVER.

Yep and we also need more capacity which hs2 helps with. Just why are we using such old tech. And it won't be ready fir two decades.
 
Second place for UKIP, impressive, lets see if it holds.

Lib dems in big trouble it seems, about time Clegg got a wake up call.
