thanks i have the beta every year but for some reason my mind drew a blank when i was thinking about it

I picked up a S7 watch for a good price but low and behold previous owner was running OS9 beta on there and when I try pair it with my 13 Pro Max I get an error saying I need to upgrade to latest version of iOS even though I'm on the latest public release.
Is there a definitive date iOS16 is out? For those who have been using iOS 16 beta does it work with all the banking apps etc? I'm tempted to just upgrade to iOS 16 if it will retain all my saved logins and work for a short period before the official release is out rather than return the watch.

Works on my iPad,atv, Apple Watch and iPhone 12,I now have no problems and works with TSB, chase, starling on mine
I presume its a fairly straight forward process switching over to the official release when they are out?
Yup, just remove the beta profile.

The RC should be available on Wednesday after the event, the current beta is stable though and won’t be much different.
I’ve been running the beta on my phone and watch since around beta 2-3 and no issues.

You mean GM? don't think they have called it RC for ages. GM = Golden Master.

With iOS/iPadOS 14.2, Apple stopped using Golden Master and was replaced by Release Candidate.

Quite of few of them shut down very recently. Betaprofiles being the main one… think they all received a nice letter from Apple.

I've slapped the beta profile on, that should do it because it's in the channel now.
