I can’t say I’ve noticed it and I’ve just tried some of the things mentioned in that linked thread.

I've had my XS Max since release and I've never noticed that.

During the release lots of apps just shown a blown up version of the regular app but after a while lots of apps started supporting the Max so now apps do genuinely show more on there. With iOS13 force touch peeking with a Max shows more now as well

No issues here. Launch day gold Xs :) this has been the most problem free phone I think I’ve ever owned tbh.

Bit concerned about playing the screen lottery with the upcoming XI though. My current screen is perfect.

Good to know people here don't have the stutter problem.

I'll snag a cheap 256GB XS Max next month which should do me for a while, unless the 2020 iphones seem worth the change.

I do find it quite amazing how much value is lost within 12 months on these phones, I expect the Max to be 50% cheaper after the 11 comes out.

Hmmm.... 50% cheaper ? Doubt it. Mazuma are offering £520 for a 64gb Xs, and second hand resale value is usually a little higher than what the recyclers offer

You are assuming there will be further reductions. Have you not considered they have already been reduced to their new 2019/2020 price and will disappear when the stock has gone like the X?

post a link for £750 phones, I can’t see anyone selling a brand new unlocked phone for that price.

I’m not really interested in brand new phones, but on the bay I’ve seen loads of them going for £800.

It’s the second hand market price of a used but mint condition that interests me and they have gone for £750 on the bay currently.

Quick search on eBay iPhone X is still going for £450+ so I’d still say £500 is very optimistic.

Whoever said £500??? :p

This is a perfect example of the exact model/specs/condition I am going to get (not a bad price, but hopefully cheaper next month):

XR still worth getting? I can get a decent deal on upgrade £36per month. No upfront. 30gb data. Unlimited text and calls.

Currently have 25gb data unlimited calls and texts for £20 per month.

So £16 a month extra for the XR 64gb.

(Been using a 64gb pixel 2xl for almost 2 years without issue)
