You won’t bend the phone. The case I was supplied for my work phone was shaped a bit like that but it stretched onto the phone perfectly.

Never ever had a problem with Touch ID but I’m loving Face ID. I fired up the 7 Plus today to get it ready for sale and found myself swiping from the bottom to get back to the home screen!

I've not tested it yet while wearing a bobble hat!

I have. I’ve worn a trilby, flat cap, statson, beanie and pork pie. All worked fine

I don't, I just lift it up and swipe up. I've always had raise to wake switched off in the past but I'm happy to leave it on now.

Very good shout. I ordered this pack when I saw your post and it arrived today. I’ve fitted it without any problems at all.

My concern with screen protectors is that my car mount is very snug but because this doesn’t go right to the edge, the phone still fits. If I can get something similar for the back as well, I’ll be all over it.

I did a restore, it’s what I’ve always done when getting a new phone.

The new gesture based controls take a while to get used to as does no home button.

I went back to my iPhone 7 less than a week after I got the Xs Max to erase it and found myself trying to swipe up from the bottom to get home. It's amazing how quickly the gestures become second nature.

I grabbed a Spigen one from the Rainforest for £8, Liquid Air I think i was. Fits well, happy enough with it. They had clear varieties as well.

I’ve now took it off as it seems to just trap dirt between the case and the phone.

That’s another reason I don’t like cases, the build up of dust you get around the edge.

OnePlus' dash charge is one of the better solutions for charging since it relies on delivering a larger current, in turn producing less heat.

Surely more current equals more heat. That’s a bit contradictory.

Amazon are selling the XS 256GB in Space Grey for £999 (£150 cheaper than Apple). I confirmed with them yesterday via chat that it has a 2 year warranty.

Who's providing that warranty then because it won't be Apple?

Has anyone had any experience with these earphones? my Airpods seem to be on the way out (battery life doesn't last very long any more) and I've gotten really used to them at work.

Mine did this, I went to an Apple store and first they replaced the case and then a few weeks later replaced the AirPods themselves. All out of warranty, it's EU law.

I don’t see how that’s possible. I’ve never pocket phoned someone from an iPhone ever and my phone lives in my pocket.

That’s a really good spot. I have taken my phone out sometimes to find that it’s trying to use Apple Pay and waiting for Face ID where I must have double tapped the side button. It’s only three more clicks to enable the emergency SOS.

I didn't like raise to wake with Touch ID but I do think it works well with Face ID.
