will the be releasing a XI and 9 along side each other? Or will we have to wait until November again?
Rumours are unclear...

The latest is that the OLED X phones are on track for September launch but the cheaper LCD '9' with the notch is behind schedule - so the opposite way round to 2017!

Does anyone know if you sync your Google Calendar on the iPhone to iCal, will you get push notifications when changes are made to a shared Google calendar?

I don't get changed info via my calendar app I don't think, but there is a google calendar app that should give you what you need :)

Google calendar app does email notifications. One of the biggest things I miss about iOS is my shared iCloud calendars would push notifications whenever an event is added or changed .

It's been said many times, the current X will die on September 12th, it makes absolutely no sense within the new lineup with the cheaper LCD style X which will have the same internals as the 'XS/+' and act as a replacement for the 8/8+. For reference the 8/8+ start at £699/£799.

Why would you buy a second hand X for £700-750 when you can get the new 'LCD X' which will be better in every way except the screen for around £750 new.

I would say second hand values could drop below £600, perhaps even as low as £500. The new LCD 'X' is going to kill any resale value it has.

I'm glad that this year, it's looking like there's not going to be short supplies (not the 6.5" anyway). I need mine before I leave the country :D

Kinda hoping they leave the iPad announcement until a few months later. Not sure my walls can handle it right now.

Yeah it's going to be gimped: other than the single camera which is a dead cert based on the parts leaked (and therefore missing software features the dual cameras provide), the Chinese rumour mill says lower res (1792x828 vs 2436x1125 and 2688x1242 for the XS and XS Plus) , 3G RAM vs. 4GB on the OLEDs, less storage options, but more colours.

So it seems the 'iPhone 9' is going to be the 5C/SE of the line-up and not a main draw (hence being absent from the leaked promo shot of the two OLED models - it's a tier below).

To be fair the new '9' has a similar resolution to the standard size 8 (750px wide) which is absolutely fine if you use it and aren't judging by the raw stats on paper. It won't be as good as the OLED models but still an upgrade on the current models.

Owned the X since release day and the only thing I miss is the wider screen of the plus phones. Had every plus phone apart from the 8 so it was odd going for a smaller phone.

This year I will be getting the 6.5" one on day one if I'm fast enough with the pre-order, and if the rumors are true I want the 512gb version because why not :D

How much do we think a used iPhone X will drop to post September 12th?

'Bout tree fiddy.

I've put mine up for o2 recycle already as they gave me £600. I'll keep it as long as I can before I have to send it off and then use my old 6S.

If o2 recycle are giving £600 then for a good condition 256GB you're surely looking at 7-800 private sale

After September 12th? No chance.

You can get brand new and sealed iPhone Xs for £750 on eBay already (£675 after fees as a seller), let alone a 1 year old used model...

Yeah? That’s good!

Makes my £600 seem even better then as normally I feel bad about losing out on an extra £100 or so for the sake of convenience
