Some of the model names being banded about (XS Max, Xr..) are hilariously horrible. Guess we won't have to wait too long to find out whether or not they're accurate!

It will be 10s, 10 Plus and 10c, for sure.

Next year they have 2 options. They can go to 11, 11 Plus and 11c or they may drop the numbers and go iPhone, iPhone Plus and iPhone C.

It seems kind of odd to skip the iPhone 9 name completely, but XC/XS/XS Plus makes the most sense given the LCD model appears to be available in a range of colours. Going forward you'd imagine what they might do though is repeat what they did with the 5C and SE and keep the phone the same for a couple of years but reduce the price and alter storage options until they can release a 'budget' OLED model further down the line.

I'm coming from an 8 Plus and on the Apple Upgrade scheme, I haven't overly followed too closely on the rumours but what is the flag-ship model planned?

That'll be the 6.5" model (which should be very similar to the physical size of your current 8 plus). Other than the usual speed increases, not much is known beyond that. Hoping there'll be some good camera improvements.

Where can I recycle my iPhone X if it doesn’t sell on the MM? Checked the usual websites and they are offering £520 for a brand new X :(

You're going to struggle now. Most will wait to buy a used X with the event being tomorrow. There will be a flood of X's which will bring down the price.

I'd get a recycle request in today incase the values tank hard over the next week. At least you will have that locked in as an option for 14 days.

Best I’ve seen so far is Handtec which were offering £564 which isn’t too bad.

I'm amazed at the number of people that use those services. They are complete crooks and give you about 60% of what you would get by selling it yourself. I know they need to make some money but damn they are cheap.

Plunc will give me £281 for my Pixel 2 64GB, eBay you're looking at about £350 minus fees and added risk/hassle. Fees are about £35 for eBay and £12 for PayPal so you'd get only £22 more vs Plunc. That amount is not enough for the risk and hassle of eBay.

Selling via Gumtree or MM is a better route, but you're not guaranteed a good price and it take take quite a while.

o2 recycle have always given me exactly what they offer. The one time I used a service other than o2, they ended up taking 20% off for the most comical of small scratches (you couldn't even see it unless you put a harsh light on it at certain angles)
