***The Official LG Nexus 4 Thread***

Does anyone know if an order will fail if the billing address is wrong? For some reason Google has my work address as my billing address?

Anyone know how to change it?

I'm happy to hold on for now, if it proves to be a successful launch I'll pick one up as cheap as I can. Not worth paying well over the odds.

Now Google wallet page (from the confirmation email link) says...

Your order has been cancelled.
You weren't charged.

Google has cancelled your order. You won't be charged.
Reason: Other (describe below)

and using the cancel order link the email reply says it's already cancelled.

I doubt I even have enough credit on my phone (yes that's right I'm on a PAYG sim at the moment) to ring Lloyds and ask them if the payment is pending or what ever. 3 times I was able to click on 'accept and buy' for a 16GB and each time it died, and when I try to order an 8GB this happens. I'm just expect the other 3 16GB orders to magically appear in my Google Wallet in 5 minutes. :D

I just want a new phone I hate living in the dark ages, although I haven't charged this thing in over a week, doubt you lot will be able to boast about that with your fancy pants phones. :p

Wow, even the mighty Google can't do a smooth release of a product online. Seems no-one can these days (except maybe Apple?). I remember the debacle when Diablo 3 released and a massive company like Blizzard still fell over. You would think that in these days of multi-cored CPUs and virtualised servers, things like this would be a thing of the past to be joked about.

Hoping these will be back up soon... it went live at 8:10 just before I had to go to work... I tried a few times and then it errored out... now I finally get to work and they've all gone :(

Does Google wallet attempt to charge whatever card is default once you've signed in? I'm starting to wonder if it's charged my credit card numerous times.

The thing is many people are reporting they have multiple orders going through. I can handle a system where it's hard to buy because of demand, however a system that allows users to make multiple purchases without realising it is truly appalling.

I doubt it's the servers, it'll be network traffic.

This is the EXACT same thing that has happened to me.

I know for a fact there is more than enough money in the account.

Clearly google wallet payment processing *$!£-up

And when you try to chase up the order by using their online form it gives pre-typed bull$£&* about how long itll take to deliver. Their customer service is appalling.

Most people have done it out of their own error.
