***The Official LG Nexus 4 Thread***

There's an 8gb one on ebay and it's up to £460 and hasn't finished. lol.

I got an email to say my Nexus 7 was dispatched, when I already had it for a week. So I wouldn't be concerned.

The status of mine the whole time since I ordered.
No updates, no shipping estimations, nothing:

your order is exactly the same as mine. I also didn't order a bumper and mine has said "complete" since ordering. I unchecked the "link to my google account" box because it's not for me, if that makes any difference.

Two guys in my office have had tracking mails, but the IDs arent valid with TNT, and TNT say there are no deliveries due for our postcode.

Is it possible Ireland / Northern Ireland orders are using a different courier?

Click Customer Reference on TNT, not consignment number.

The "link to my google account" is the subject of some debate it seems. Some say it's a simple barcode scan and serial association. Others say it'll involve an unpack and repack for the configuration.

Who knows

Yep, sadly Giffgaff seem to be a bit crap if anything goes wrong. Though Three are renown for poor customer service so hopefully nothing goes wrong with them.

I have heard that but as long as I have a working sim, I dont plan to get in touch with them...

I really wanted o2 based network as they have good signal where I work...would go for O2 direct but they dont offer unlimited internet

Could be using the fancy NFC technology to do it :p

I don't think it makes a difference if you requested account association or not. It seems to just come down to complete luck, and whether you ordered a bumper or not as it appears no bumpers have been shipped anywhere, I can't find a single instance of them being shipped in any country.

Make that 2 on XDA with no shipping email / pending in wallet.

When purchasing a Nexus 4 from Google Play, you'll notice a 'Link this device to my Google account' checkbox appear in your cart just prior to checkout. When you link a Nexus 4 to your Google account, we'll automatically send your name and username to the device when you first power it on. You'll just need to input your Google account password to get started..

It will just be a serial number scan and the account will be linked when the device is connected to the internet for the first time
