its plenty loud enough, not even looked at upping it past the stock settings even though i have unlocked and rooted

Yeah, 3 are direct with American Express (Gold, Nectar, British Airways), one's with my bank (Lloyds Avios Duo) and one's with MBNA (Fly BMI). So obviously not!
And sorry, back on topic...
All Nexus 4's are unlocked and unbranded.
Even if they did come branded it would be so easy to remove (factory images are hosted by Google), but they don't, so it's a moot point.

I think it is a tad quiet personally. I set my ringtone yesterday and manually increased it's volume off the phone to help a bit but I certainly wouldn't hear it in my pocket in a pub or similar I don't think.

I'm finding the volume ok but I'd like the vibrate to be a little stronger (bow chika bow-wow)
Do you tend to have to back down on something? I find that can muffle it a bit as the back is perfectly flat.

But then you have to make sure you don't put it close to the edge of a table or it will do it's lemming impersonation!

I've never seen anyone do that, you can't see any LED notifications then, let alone use it?
Anyone running a custom ROM?
Looking at installing Paranoid Android, but just wanted to make sure everything works as it should before I do!
I only run custom
PA is rock solid and if you pair that with the Matr1x kernel it should give you good battery life.
I like PA, but can't live without the custom navbar so I'm running AOKP which also has better quick settings features. When there are no notifications and you perform a 1 finger swipe it shows the quick settings instead of an empty notification drawer.

Thanks for the reply, will give the PA and matr1x combo a try.
As a side note, I've got the phone set up just how I like it with all the apps I currently need, is there an easy way to batch back them up and reinstall them after wiping and installing a new ROM? I've got ROM Toolbox installed, was thinking I could maybe do it with that?
Edit? ROM Toolbox works, just ran a backup, will install PA tomorrow morning.

both yours? well if i were you i would have one going to the other one, i have about 5 email accounts running through gmail
Add 2 accounts into accounts > google. Done.
i would add one to another in gmail, having two accounts on there is not helpful (although my wife does) you can only have one linked to the play store (i believe) therefore its only really for email.
