***The Official LG Nexus 4 Thread***

Need a separate thread for people posting up TNT tracking snapshots and whining about email confirmations every 2mins.

This thread should be about apps, Roms, accessories and good things... for those us WITH THESE PHONES :D:D:D
 
Ordered yesterday 3:03pm out for delivery at the moment. Then I need to cut down the sim and pick up a case currently thinking Rearth Ringke Slim Case or something similar.

Then on to customising it.

I am looking at getting a new phone for calls and texts, my recent adventures with andriod phones seem to be that they can do loads of non-phone stuff well but the call quality isn't a prominent feature...
my old htc hero was fine for a while then it started to not ring when someone was calling, but a couple of mins later it would tell me via text message that someone had called - not too good for business!
then my lg optimus black...it was fine for a while but eventually it would ring but you would be unable to slide to answer, it would just freeze, also sometimes you'd sound like a robot...
then I got a sony xperia and everyone complains when I speak to them on it that I sound like I'm in the bath
so now I'm back on the optimus as a stop gap...

You had a pretty poor run with phones there. Not the best Android phones to really set an example. :p

Either way no complaints with call quality on mine, all the reviews applauded the call quality also. So as a phone it works fine.
 
Guys if I refuse delivery will I get a complete refund or will it be minus delivery charge?

I ordered yesterday and then changed my mind and tried to cancel but it says it was too late so now its been sent out for delivery.

Tell them it's coming back under the DSR and you'll get a full refund.

what do you mean, the hero was a beast of a phone, at the time (and looks better than any of todays offerings!)
but cheers, might get around to ordering one after I get the car through its mot!

Nah, it's warranty safe because you can lock the bootloader back up at any time you want.

Benefits are subjective, but it allows more freedom to modify the phone, replace the OS completely, take full system backups etc
 
It's worth Rooting. I forgot to do it when I first got mine and it's a bit of a pain to do it afterwards, having to re-setup e-mail accounts and stuff. It's worth rooting just to put Cerberus as a system app imo.
 
Ordered mine at 3:03 yesterday and order is still pending :( Contacted Google and got what appeared to be an automated response saying that it would be shipped on 13/02/2013 :(

I don't mind waiting, but seeing people who ordered at the same time get theirs significantly sooner is just harsh....
