Have you looked in Activity Monitor (or just run 'top' in terminal) to see what's loading it up? You've got a rogue process somewhere that's thrashing it.So far Big Sur has destroyed my battery on MBP 2016 15" - it constantly sits at 85c now and battery is flat in under 2 hours - very annoyed, its been on since launch day, id have thought it would have finished sorting its file system etc out by now.
I had the notifications yesterday and it's only if your Mac has a T1 or T2 security chip. Neither of mine do so I'm not getting the option.I'm struggling to find the option to enable this.
Has that actually been said or is this just because there's not been one for this release? There's never a combo for the first major point update, it's not possible.Looks like combo updates are no more with Big Sur, @Feek won’t be pleased.

macOS Big Sur 11.2 improves Bluetooth reliability and fixes the following issues:
- External displays may show a black screen when connected to a Mac mini (M1, 2020) using an HDMI to DVI converter
- Edits to Apple ProRAW photos in the Photos app may not save
- iCloud Drive could turn off after disabling the iCloud Drive Desktop & Documents Folders option
- System Preferences may not unlock when entering your administrator password
- Globe key may not display the Emoji & Symbols pane when pressed
Some features may not be available in all regions or on all Apple devices.

Not quite what you're after but I have this on my MBA.Anyone able to help me out, I'm trying to find out what speed I'm connected to my wifi at as it's started running slowly for some reason.
