I’m going to trade in MW2 against this tomorrow, quick Q though – why is everyone playing SVER? From what I have read elsewhere, this seems to be the overpowered faction of the three – surely you’re all not that bad :D

Seriously though, why pick SVER over the others?

That was a joke by the way, just for those up-tight people

SVER is not overpowered as such, its a case of it having the better map especially in the 256 game. Thus they dominate the Shadow War contract in that area.

If you look at the other game types, I believe Raven always control Acquisition contracts and Valor Sabotage (which SVER go close on).

The only thing is that SVER has not lost its own contract in any of the types (as I played 3 nights ago)... where as SVER held Ravens in Domination, Raven held Valors in Acq. and Valor held Ravens in Sabo.

Ive lost just 1 domination (256 man) match as SVER and thats because we must have had noobs covering ABCD because they fell within minutes, where as we held our side without losing a bunker and in the end diverted partial forces to try and retake ABCD but it was too late to stop the damage.

Mag doesnt load the whole 200+ people. it prioritises the info that will be useful to you and loads the rest in the background... such as the 10 people close to you will be more important than the rest that are miles away from you

Are you sure about that? Ive easily seen 100+ people in the same area at the same time.... and people are not so far away from each other, especially in domination as you fall back to defend A-H, I could walk from H-A quite quickly and watch all the different battles in progress and join in if wanted.

Im not saying what you state isnt true in a sense, but as I say ive seen way more than 10 on screen at once and easily more than any other game ive played before including PC.

Still feeling a bit like a headless chicken at the moment but I'm sure I'll understand soon enough!

Sniping in this game is pretty good but doesn't really fit in with the whole 'squad' approach IMO.

The only way to get round this would be to extend the range at which Snipers get the bonus squad XP but I'm sure this would be open to some abuse by idle peeps :p

Does any one else have problems getting to be squad leader? Got to lvl 32 now, but only managed to get it once so far, and hate to think how many times I've click the apply box.
 
If you love big online shooters that require teamwork, BUY IT. I was a big fan of games like MOHAA, Wolfenstein, so this game was a great addition.

A site is selling the Collectors Edition for 30 quid...It comes in a sexy tin case. Seriously, get the game, support it. It's brill.
 
Another vote for buy it now :)

I didnt play the beta/demo etc so I suppose ive not had any previous experiences to put me off, but once I got the game and understood the 'point' of each game type then its top draw fun.
