Been really enjoying it so far. In fact I'd say it's probably the best Mario kart I've played since the original SNES version.

The online doesn't seem entirely stable though and I suspect it might still be using peer to peer for the races.

Nintendo's going to need to up their game of they actually want people to pay for an online subscription service based on what I've experienced!

If you use the gyro you always have a great traction stat so you can pile on the other stats and sacrifice that one, giving you a huge advantage in the stats.

There's no debate here, gyro lets you go much faster!

Just checked and it's the right code (try again?) but it will say the tournament is closed until 7:30pm, but you can run practice matches in there before but they just wont count to the 16 races or gain you any points.

Edit: managed to get into the tournament lobby, but if no one else can access it we can try making a new one if it's bugged.

Gave in a got this along with Tetris because i am a complete sucker for anything even remotely nostalgic Nintendo!

I've not tried online yet and am just working my way through the courses, i aim to do every cc

The Excitebike and F-Zero tracks! OMG! they are worth the price along, awesome game and as said above probably the best since the original SNES version
