Nice, whats the battery life, you should atart an official 1520 thread, and we could do with a general lumia thread as well.

Went to have a play on one but cpw didnt have any in stock.

Can now feel like I can report on battery life - it's bloody great! Used it on Sunday to watch a good number of videos on Youtube (30-40 mins), 30 mins of Sat-Nav, 3 hours of music (through headphones), 30 mins of web browsing and took some photos, over the course of 16 hours, and was at 56% charge by the end...

And that was leaving WiFi and Bluetooth switched on the whole time...

Is the 925 worth it over the 920? I want to get a 920 but can get a 925 at the same price. I know the only real difference is the 32Gb on the 920 and 16Gb on the 925?

Don't forget that the optics on the 925 are slightly improved and also the phone is an awful lot lighter/thinner if that matters to you. I prefer the design on the 920 myself.

Didn't think of that, but with Tesco Direct screwing up my order for a 920, my mate had a 925 he wasn't using so "borrowing" that for a bit lol

I forgot how lovely the OS was on these things, tempted to cough up the $19 to get a dev account to get GDR3/Black

Dev account won't give you black. Only GDR3. I'd just wait personally. Not long til it goes live anyway. Save's faffing about.

Ugh suspect my phone is stuffed, wiped the phone and set up again, my battery usage started at 5% per Hr and now gone up to 10%, at this rate im not even getting half a day out of it.

Also noticed something wierd, the pipping noise you get from a phone too close to your speakers, its doing it an alarming rate, like its constantly communicating, but all my apps are closed and not allowed background usage....help! :(

I prefer the 920 too, but that's because of the wireless charging - makes it so much simpler and I always worry about faffing up the microUSB socket on my phone.

True. It was a big mistake to start making wireless charging back covers instead of just building it in to the phone.
