Yea its looking like 8.1, maybe not even then.

Got the black update, did this also update the Blue Tooth connection?...as I havnt been able to sync my phone to my car since the Amber update.
 
I can't comment on changing the device, but bear in mind even if you do it won't remove the SIM lock.

Its not the SIM lock I'm fussed about just eager to get the black update.

When's MS releasing there Siri rival, Cortana or whatever it'll be called, with 8.1?

That's the rumour yes, hopefully will shall know more at Build in April.
 
My usb has died on my 920, just booked it in for repair. Hopefully will get a nice fast turn around again. As for flashing to another ROM it should be possible, on a previous 920 from ee I had the standard EU rom flashed to it and got all the updates for that rom and it worked fine.

I know, was just making you aware. As on some manufacturers devices flashing the device removes the SIM lock. Nokia's are different because the SIM lock is HW rather than SW.

They can work fine, I just can't comment on how to do it as it'll all be unofficial ways of doing it. I won't risk being made responsible for helping someone possibly brick their phone. That's all.
 
Glance update, RAW camera support, better camera algorithms, BT 4.0 LE, folder app support. A few other apps can now be used.

There is probably more but that's all I can remember off the top of my head.

Now just need wp8.1 to clear up some of its glaring let downs and with sales figured doing so well, hopefully even more app developers will jump on board especially as people actually pay on wp8 unlike android. Shame about china and Usa as they are huge markets. Although until the 1520 its lacked high end hardware. So hopefully things will start changing although they desperately need a new 920 and 1020 with 1080p and snapdragon 800.

The new Lumia 929/ICON looks promising Glaucus. Although no concrete deals a Verizon listing outed it properly a little while back. Hoping it is iPhone 5 sequel with a large screen. May finally jumpship onto the we bandwagon
