**** The Official Note 4 thread ****

Not really, I would say more cleaned and polished. I have had every Note since the first but I have always been slighted put off with Android due to the performance issues and general lack of cohesion. I got rid of my Note 3 and went to the iPhone 6 Plus which is a great experience. I then tried the Note 4, KitKat disappointed me and was about to let the Note 4 go just as this ROM dropped. Completely changed my mind now and the Note 4 feels much more Apple like in polish now but with all the extras the Note offers :)

The speed increase from KitKat to Lollipop is quite jaw dropping to be honest. Glad Dalvik is dead!

Very honest and thorough thoughts. Thanks for your input Mate.

Now the question is buy the Snapdragon 805 Note 4 or the Exynos 5433 version?
Dilemmas!!!

I'm thinking of maybe getting a note 4, but wondered if it has a 64bit processor or not? It looks like there are a few variants, but just thinking about lollipop and support going forwards...

Thanks all. I'm just thinking in terms of longevity with a 64 bit processir as I tend to keep hold of phones for longer that I should with custom ROMs etc. Does anyone know if Sammy are planning on any 64 software support? I guess that will be one of the new S6 & N5 features....

It's pretty much a certainty that you won't see any 64 bit support on the Note 4. Samsung like to keep the different SoC versions fairly similar, so they're not going to update one to a 64 bit OS, while keeping the other on 32 bit. It would cause too much potential for incompatability and issues between the versions.

Plus if they were going to, they'd likely have done it with the initial release of Lollipop.

So realistically, you can think of both versions as 32 bit.
