**** The Official Note 4 thread ****

Has anyone managed to find a good glass screen protector, this 2.5d screen is a pain.
The last one I used on my Note4 before I gave it to my father was an Anker one bought about a year and a half ago. Still going well. Obviously it hasn't full screen coverage.

If anyones interested on amazon, they have the Anker 3220mAh Li-ion Battery for Samsung Galaxy Note 4 going for £7.99 at the moment, go through todays deals and look under Electronics, been using one of those batteries since around september, i'm tempted to getting a spare.

Thanks just ordered!

I've had an Anker battery for about 6months and it works great! Just wanted another as this phone doesn't seem like it's due a replacement anytime soon!

I ended up buying a Powerbear battery from Amazon for £9.99 during the Xmas sales. I haven't put it into my fathers Note4 just yet though as it's been behaving itself. Shall report back when I do so :)

Regarding the battery i bought the kit that contains the external docking charging station via amazon. Every time i got the original battery as well and just sold the extra docking station to some of my friends.

Another great feature thing i bought for it so i can preseerve the micro usb plug as much as i can, this.

How long have you been using that as it looks a great idea for preserving the charging port?

I note a few reviews that say they lose the magnetism after a while but I assume you can re-magnetise it?

the screen is failing on mine now. must have suffered some damage when it became dislodged. i just need it to hold out till march when i replace it with ano....yeah that's not going to happen. :/

So sent my note 4 away for repair as it kept losing signal and randomly rebooting it self and got this reply...

We are sorry to inform you that your device has been deemed unrepairable. This can be due to a number of reasons such as (but not limited to) parts availability, multiple faults or repair costs.

Our dedicated solutions team will be in contact with you in the next 48hrs to offer a resolution

Great. Wonder what they will offer me?

who did you send it to? I would have though they'd put a new mainboard in there

Display on mine is completely fried now. I think i'll just bin it and buy a cheap android phone to tide me other till the S8 is released.

On reflection, my note 4 has been the most unreliable phone i've ever owned lol.

Samsung!

My new replacement N4 still being very strange like others have said, I don't rate stock at all. Fortunately Dr Ketan has released a new version of his ROM, so will update before my holiday and hope I don't have to deal with these issues abroad.

Who replaced yours mate?

Phone insurance through Barclays (think it's Lifestyle something who handle it), the phone was completely borked and they simply replaced with a new unit.

Has anyone had issues with internet connectivity with theirs? Mine has started to quite frequently not load things like websites (through any web browsers, namely Firefox and Chrome Dev), and some apps like Palabre (RSS news feeds), yet weirdly it does work with other things that require internet like Instagram or games. Happens on both wifi and mobile data. A restart will fix it, but the problem will still come back after a while.

Mine had a funny moment today :( one spot (not a normal area) got very hot and the battery started draining at about 1% every 30 seconds and it wouldn't recognise the sim - restarted it and same problem, had to remove battery for a few seconds and then it restarted without the battery drain but wouldn't recognise sim until it had cooled - not good. Sadly seems to be a bit of a glitchy device.
