You used to be able to by putting in a defender that wasn't going to play, substitues weren't subject to formation constraints back in the day. :)
 
Up to 26 on OcUK, happy with that! A top 25 finish would make me happy :).

Does anyone know how league rankings are worked out? OcUK is 40 out of 223,854, so however that's calculated I think we should all be proud!
 
My friend/house mate who is also my other house mates girlfriend has consistently beaten all of us in her first season :(. With only a little bit of help from us, some good decisions and luck - she beats us week in week out and knows very little about football (though she has missed quite a few weeks but still managed to average 50 points). I am 59 points behind her and desperate to catch her and her I think her boyfriend has a bet with her too. All about choosing the right captain in the next two weeks and hoping Drogba or Malouda don't do anything. Mind you, last season I was on top for 36 weeks and my house mate pipped me right at the last hurdle. I love FF :D!
 
Went for some sort of outrageous risk this week to try and catch the leader, Balotelli as captain - gg :)

One of those decisions that you KNOW is a mistake when you are doing it, but you just can't help yourself. Like when I brought in Saha, click "transfer" and wait for the internet packets to go within 50 miles of him and cause him to have a hernia.
 
At this time of the season, all games are unpredictable. SOme teams who are comfortable will take it easy; some will try to finish in a bang, some will pull their fingers out. Picking players like you would normally do the rest of the season just doen't reap the same rewards.

And who will do what is anyone's guess. Will Man City really and truly push for 3rd or will they sit back safe in the knowledge that even if they lose they'll still finish 4th? I'm hoping the former seeing as I've got 3 City players :p.
 
Want to take Silva out due to the above, but have no idea who to replace him with! Can pretty much afford anyone, so I think my choice is out of Malouda, Nani or even Valencia. Chelsea and Man U have both got fairly easy ends to the season but still enough to play for.

Does anyone know why Nani didn't play the last game? Was he simply rested for the CL?
 
I was eying up Valencia but decided against it as you can never be sure if him or Nani will get the nod. Also if MU tie up the title this weekend you don't know what sort of team will be put out next week, there might be some players needing 10 appearances and also resting players for the CL final.

i was hoping to break the top 100 but half my players decided not to play :(
 
146th , top half at least I suppose. I got really strong towards the end there after a very weak first half of the season, was banging in the points and flying up the table. I'm Liverpool ! :D
 
Hadnt checked since the season finished, assumed had finished in the hundreds...64th! Pretty please with that, but looking forward to doing better next!
