Prices drop over time as people sell the player and as he fails to score points, but if he's already bargain basement, then his price isn't likely to drop more than 0.1-0.2m over the course of the season.

Edit: Welbeck is a potentially good signing given his cost, and presumably will start most matches till the end of the year.
 
Do people think these transfers make sense , I'm tempted to do
coutinho > sterling
hazard > fabregas

and might take a punt on Ben Arfa
 
Was hoping Coutinho would be a good differential as everyone is going to have or out in Sterling. However, medium to long term I don't think you can go to wrong with those changes but I would be less sure about ousting Hazard. He'll get a hat trick the second you take him out.
 
I can't see Coutinho out scoring Sterling, Sterling seems to be stepping up to the mark this season now that Saurez is gone and I can see him being a must have player like Fabregas (Hazard is overpriced for me now)
 
So took a 4 point hit to do the following:
countinho -> sterling
s.larsson - > zaha

decided to hold onto fabregas but was 0.1 short to get Sterling in 1 transfer so had to bring in zaha..

:eek: You're crazy man!

You've already taken a 4 point hit before the International break. What if any of your other players get injured and need transferred?? I hope you have your Wildcard left to play :D

My current changes have resulted in this team so far:

I was having a look at the upcoming fixtures and saw that Arsenal have City, Chelsea and Spurs within their next four games so ditched Ramsey and Alexis for now. Still got £2.1m in the bank and my wildcard is in play incase of any International problems.

Its a gamble I agree but you have to do these things before prices changes make it unaffordable, Sterling will be at least another 0.1 before the next premiership games. (and yes I do have my wildcard)

Yeah I was going to go for Welbeck until I saw their fixtures :p

Ok the gamble might have backfired !!
Dier, Vlaar, Hazard, Costa, Jovetic and Lukaku all showing as doubtful

I'm expecting Dier, Hazard and Costa to either play or be on the bench and come on at some point. Jovetic's hamstring is nowhere near letting him play. Lukaku is the unknown. Of course if he's fit he'll play.
