Decided to change my team up a bit, not sure on what Sanchez will be like in his first season, whether he will acclimatise to the league straight away or take longer, plus with it being more physical than La Liga I thought he was a bit of a risk at his price. Took Sturridge out so I could invest a bit more in other areas. :)

I'd down grade cahill to afford Rooney and Costa. I'd take out nasri, cputinho and lovren. Liverpool fixtures aren't great to start. Manu on the other hand are laughing until gw9, so focus on 3 utd players until then. Sanchez is an unknown quantity, I'm laying off him until proven.


My opinion anyway.
 
I appreciate your opinion but I'm going to stick with what I have for now, if it doesn't work out I can always change things a little bit later on. Nasri scored 155 points last season, Coutinho 114 and Lovren 124. I can't see Lovren scoring less points playing for a good Liverpool team than he did playing for Southampton. The front three scored a combined total of 502 points last season and I'm not sure putting Rooney, Costa and AN Other while having to weaken the rest of the squad to afford them will really make me any better off.


EDIT: Just checked up on Rooney and he only managed 3 more points than Giroud alone so on that basis I'll be leaving him well alone. Costa is an unknown quantity in this league and I don't want to risk that much of my budget on a player who could be a bit of a gamble fantasy wise.

Howard (GK)
Azpilicueta - Lovren - Caulker
Mata - Sterling - Ramsey - Johnson - Nolan
Sturridge - Dzeko

SUBS: - Speroni, Monreal, Bruce, Armstrong
 


Here's mine to get things started, a few odd ones in there like Bojan and Ade but i think they might score a few this season. Cheap as well in relation to other strikers. Putting my faith in Arsenal at the back, hopefully they concentrate..lol

Ramsey and Silva. They are both proven in the prem and should hit the ground running. Not sure how southampton will do this season so I would hold off on their players for the first few weeks.
 
Question is, who should i make captain? Rooney, Ramsey or Costa. Rooney stands out for me.

I'd go ddg and debuchy as Debuchy looks like he could be a bargain at 5.5 m. And manu look like they could have quite a few clean sheets for the first 8 game weeks.

Bojan could be a steal at 5.5m and I'm tempted by him too. Only problem is his ownership is already very high. So if he delivers or not, his price is at a risk of falling. Pelle might be a good shout too.

Yeah, i think Stoke might be a surprise package this year, maybe not though as well. It's always a bit pot luck at the start of the season with certain teams.
 


Swapped my team around a little bit, thought Mata and Silva might be better choices as they are guaranteed starters..Got Mutch and Atsu in there as well, could be bargains them. Atsu looked alright at the WC, needs to get his shooting a bit less wild though..
