I really don't fancy value and vehicle (which was my great idea) doesn't seem to have much support so I'm going to vote variety no vehicle no variety errrrrrrrr don't know

Value does not have to mean cheap. Just supermarket own label. There is some good stuff out there you may not realise.

Another vote for value here - seems to me like the choice could be rather diverse for this particular category.
Plus, it could be interesting reading the small write ups / comments on the cheapest, crappiest beer you can find.

Nope, they do Tesco's Double IPA (used to just be Hardcore, believe recipe has changed now).
Didn't brew for M&S when I was there, nor have I heard about them doing it. Plus, they wouldn't have had the space.
