didn't really test my ram that much .. its trident z 3200... i can run 3733 with cl17.. but I do not think that ram speed has too much of an influence in cinebench

Finally was able to reach 5.3ghz on my i5-8600k... So far so good, stable in games, stable in benches...

Do you use these settings also for gaming? If so is 1.3 volts not to high or isn't that a problem because games don't use that much cpu utilization? Just curious if that kind of volt is dangerous for gaming?

Damn son, that X5660 was overclocked pretty well too. That's shocking.

Close to double the SC performance though at similar clocks is insane.

I have a pair of X5670 cpus in my server. Never really considered how dared they are now. Especially being in a rackmount Dell, there's no overclocking.
