exactly +1 or run the single core mode in the bench ;)

Ahhh was wondering what you were talking about. Looking back took those screenshots to mean the single core mode run. Buts it’s the multithreaded bench but with all cores bar one enabled so it would still be using hyper threading. In that case yeah not quiet a proper single thread run as the CPU (single thread) run would spit out. Damm was impressive otherise. Still interesting to see the scaling hyperthreading has. Mid-high 500 points to 700 with HT off vs on.

Yeah I did see, could you do me a favour and run a multi score with 4 real cores + 4 ht, so basically imitate an old i7 4c8t?.

Just did one on 4770K @ 4.4GHz, multiscore of 2058.

Can't do 5GHz with my chip. 4.5/4.6GHz max but too much voltage for 24/7.

Not a 9900K just dropping this in for comparison for when Moorhen2 runs his 9900K under same scenario.

Brilliant, thanks for your result on the 4.4ghz, It might seem a strange request but I've been offered a 4790k which holds 4.9-5ghz stable.
My 4770k runs 4.4ghz. So i'm interested in seeing how well Coffee lake compares at 4.4ghz/5ghz.

@moorhen2
Really appreciate you setting up and running the bench. Thanks a lot , that shows the scaling I was kinda expecting, roughly +300 and +500 in multi,

Makes it clear for me that cheaping out on a 6c6t 9600k/8700k just wouldn't be worth it.
Think it's going to be the 9700k, but gotta wait for Amd to show it's offerings as ideally I'd like 8c16t.

Did a bit of cpu and gpu oc'ing today so would like to update the above, please. :)

Good scores. If you look at the scoreboard though, i think you will find you still have a way to go to beat mine :D. And mine is only at 4.25Ghz, i think you might need to do a bit more work on your ram :D

not to be that kind of guy , but if your at 4.25 are you not tweaking the MP ? or are u just playing around with PBO, as litrally my frquency there is for a single core , with everything excpet voltages at stock
