I love the way people casually use phrases like 'a year or two of uncertainty' as if it's inconsequential. Meanwhile, this feels like a car crash in slow motion with the added bonus of watching the pound drop dramatically.

Still cannot believe this went to a referendum. Reckless.

It is inconsequential when measured across the next few decades

Remember for a independent Scotland, the pound is a foreign currency so they get none of the benefits of having your own currency.

That was kind of my point - it's a question those pushing for Scottish independence can't answer. Still using GBP would be very tricky, and the Euro would be a disaster.
