Another thread in the same vain as the G.Skill stuff. Just bought some of this 2GB magic only but a few minutes ago. :)

Post your timings, volts, and speeds; along with motherboard used.

Cheers!

Well guys, my CPU was delivered today: X2 4400+ replacement - CCBWE 0546SPAW. It seems stable with the 2GB in so far, see how it goes eh? Then gotta see how far this thing clocks too. Anyway, got my 4000EB in. Passed about 30mins memtesting from me running at.....wait for it....2-3-2-7 1T 200mhz :D. So now I can have tight timings and slack timings :D.

Great! I will try 2-3-2-7 1T 200MHz tomorrow. All my parts came today BUT no damn cable sleeve kit for my Seasonic S12! I know I should've gone with the Hiper R-Type. ;) (Seasonic > Hiper bar NO sleeve kit! :D)

Anyway I should get my rig up and running tomorrow. :)

2-3-2-5 1T 200 mhz 2.68v 6 hours (overnught) memtest stable. Excellent. So I can do tight timings OR high FSB with good timings - this stuff is amazing.

You going for a higher FSB now? Can't wait to start testing today.
Soon-ish. Just testing my new X2. Now priming large FTT's stock volts 2.5ghz. Seems like a better core than my old one and more importantly, hasn't crashed with a 2GB kit in it :D (old X2 required 1.45v to be prime stable @ 2.5ghz). About 1 hour into priming now.

Currently running stock 3-3-2-8 1T 250mhz x10.

WOW! Stock volts, BOO-YAH! Where are my damn PSU sleeves, i cant' wait another day!

Double Wow, so you think those Hitachi's are faster in realtime than your Raptor 150GB?

IF so, i want some.. NOW!

Yes they are. However, with 4 of them running at the same time seeking at the same time etc, about the same noise . I'm not fussed though because I'm so used to raptors that the noise no longer bothers me. One thing, make sure your PSU can handle it - I have 2 PSU's, one 525W Hiper (secondary) and one 480W Hiper Type-R (main).

The 525W powers the following - 5 HDU's, watercooling pump, fans x8, lightsx4, fan controller.

My main one controls mobo, cpu graphics etc. This way I keep my PSU's on separate grounds and never in parallel with each other (a big no-no). They run independently of one another but boot together using the coolermaster dual psu boot cable.

This CPU is amazing CCBWE 0546SPAW compared to my old CCBWE 0519UPMW. Stock volts at 2.5ghz!! This will do FX60 with ease (stock volts?). It definitely was a dodgy memory controller on my old and and I'm glad I got it replaced. :D

Anyway, back on topic - I'm gonna go for CAS 2.5 soon, so watch this space!!!

Have you got any A64 tweaker screenshots? Interested to see what settings you have used?
What sort of voltage are you putting throught those sticks too?

Currently using these settings myself as a start.
No, I did it all from BIOS.

Everything was set to stock settings from the 623-3 BIOS apart from the main 4 which were adjusted accordingly. I have now got it running @ 3-3-2-5 1T (CAS2.5 booted with 2.5-3-3-7 but that's about all it did). This has been done with 2.68v (BIOS) or 2.64V (Windows Smartguardian).

I've been running all day @ 3-3-2-8 1T @ 2.7v with my CPU at 250x11 @ 1.4v w/ overvolt 0.2v. :)

I'm checking my CPU out first though. Will Attempt to get the memory down to 2.5CAS soon.

Hi Smids is this the stuff that you have OCZ 2GB (2 x 1GB) PC4000 Dual Channel Platinum Series EB-DDR CAS3 (OCZ5002048EBPE-K) (MY-058-OC

Yeah, I too can reach 2.5ghz at stock volts, but I had to increase to 1.4V to reach 2.6ghz.

But how high can these OCZs go? I have ocz pc3200 platinum edition 2x1gb, and I reach a bit more than 230mhz with 2.5-3-2-5 timings. Is that good? With about 2.7V.

I can do 3-3-2-5 up to 261FSB STABLE. For some reason they won't do 2.5CAS on anything above 250FSB though. :(

Those sticks look good to me though. :)

CAS2 =<200FSB, CAS2.5 =<250FSB, CAS3 =<300FSB
