Anyone else do AQA ICT? What did you get in the ICT1 exam, I appear to have got 43/90, yet I thought I did really well and got a decent mark in ICT2...

My sister had 56 out of 90.

She got :

Statistical Maths : A (256/300)
Biology : B (231/300, just 9 short of an A)
Economics : C (187/300, they lost Paper 1 so had to guess the results for that paper!)
ICT : C (196/300)

Bit disapointed with mine tbh, went from AABB at AS level to BBCC at A2. :(

B - Business Studies
B - AVCE IT
C - Maths
C - Physics

Really disapointed with my maths and physics because i felt i had done better. As it turned out, i did well in my maths apart from Pure 3, where i only just scraped an 'E' which dragged my grade right down. :(

I phone Bath and they won't take me with those grades so i made a shortlist of other unis:-

UMIST
King's College London
University of Kent

As it turned out, i phone UMIST first and they accepted me no problems on G401 (computer science with a year in industry). So after the disapointment of my results, i'm now relieved at the fact that i'm going to an excellent university that will soon become the biggest in europe!

:D :o

just got a-level results. needed 3xB's for business information systems at uni of east anglia. got:

economics - a
design technology - a (no idea how)
maths - b
general studies - b

am chuffed to bits, much bettet thn i was expecting. rest of the day in the pub now :)

(AS)

B - Biology
C - Chemistry
D - Physics
E - Maths

Not pleased, not uber disappointed. Gonna have to rethink what to do for a career I think. I will resit all the sciences I think because they are all fairly close to the higher boundary, I would need like 4 more marks in each paper to go up a grade, which if I work hard is doable.

I will just forget about Maths now I think :(

erm...teachers didnt explain this well enough....i think i got -

D - General Studies || 163/300
C - I.T || 182/300
D - Product Design || 157/300
C - Art || 187/300
U - Psychology || its no the "softer" subject that it was just described as on the radio!!!

Worse
Out of 300
A = 240, B = 210, C = 180, D = 150, E = 120. You had a U :(

/edit

Actually I've just seen your scores for your other modules and your grades haven't followed the system I posted. How very odd. I was under the impression they "tweaked" the numerical results so the grade boundries were always as I posted. Obviously they don't with whatever examing board you sat with.
