whats the battery life like on these? and the camera?

I was set on getting a contract S7/S7 Edge/Note7. But wondering if something like this might be a good option.

My Nexus 6 struggles to last me the day, when i'm travelling for work. Bought a Redmi Note 3 pro, which was great in terms of battery, but I don't really like MIUI and need a better camera for taking pictures of the family.
 
Picked mine up this evening, have rooted and am just setting the phone up.
It's a very nice size, I do find it a bit thin coming from my Moto X Style. This is nothing a decent case couldn't sort out.

I've got a flip case on it at the moment, will see how I get on with it. If I don't like it I'll just buy a normal bumper case.
 
Ordered one of these today with the car charger and sandstone case. Should be delivered tuesday next week.

Which is the best screen protector to use with it? Glass or Film?
 
Mine arrived earlier and really liking it so far. Coming from a Nexus 4 so it's a huge upgrade. Might take me a bit to get used to screen size though.

It comes with a film screen protector already installed. I ordered the OnePlus glass protector and it feels much nicer to use but doesn't look as nice installed. Altho once the phone is inside the Spigen clear case it's not as noticeable due to the case 'wrapping' around onto the front. But if you use it without a case you can see it looks a bit odd not going to the edges.

I would get the curved one from OnePlus as the normal one doesn't sit properly, see the pic. I will order the curved one when it's back in stock.


Z3 with Ultimate Shield tempered glass screen protector & OnePlus 3 with their tempered glass screen protector. Ultimate shield goes right to the edges.

It's just as good. I've only really had to use the wall one at the weekends, the half hour or so in the car with it on the Dashcharger on the way to/from work each day has been keeping it full.

Correct. You'll get it as an OTA only if you're currently on a Community Build.

I flashed 3.5.2 via adb last night, so far seems stable enough, not come across any major bugs :)

This is what I was hoping for.

Someone earlier in the thread said the dash charge has changed their charging habits, I'd say the same too. But this has also changed my routine which resulted in me forgetting my phone at today.

I think a 30m charge in the car home and back would be great.

Edit: Is the only place to buy this on the OP website?
