**** The Official OnePlus 3 Thread ****

Dash Car charger arrived today, normal delivery took 1 full week from dispatch.

20 minute charge on the way home gave me 40% so 2x 20 minute charges a day and full top up at the weekend will probably be fine for me.

My iPhone 6 is looking a bit long in the tooth (and I'm having problems with it) so I'm seriously thinking about picking up one of these.

The only things that worry me are:
Sound quality via wired headphones (and potentially bluetooth) and battery life.

I tested some music on a colleagues and it sounded very brittle and hollow compared to my iphone 6. I know there's a global eq for android, does this go anywhere towards getting a better sound? Has anyone used it, or felt the need to use it?

I'm not a power user, I rarely play games but am on whatsapp all day and listen to quite a lot of streaming music. My battery is normally on about 30-50% when I go to be on my iphone 6. Is the battery in the oneplus 3 comparable?

Also, I'm with three. A few people have mentioned problems with 4g. Is anyone on 3 not having problems?

would have been nice for an ee deal but seemed obvious really with all the bubbles and dog references.

Still not sure if its worth the upgrade from the one yet

Quite... but why on earth did they choose 02, which is not one of the most popular UK networks, to say the least!

OP3 puts up a good fight.

just wish the camera was better on the OP3

Wonder if you could reduce the screen on the OP3 to 1334x750 resolution at 326pp if it would make a performance difference.

Surely with the IP7 pushing less pixels around it gives it an advantage in performance?

Not as much as you might think. When i i had a LG G3 which had a 1440 x 2560 display some bright spark on XDA managed to reduce the resolution to 1080 but only got an extra 7 mins of battery life.

Not really, the 7 plus is just as fast.

Anyone had a problem getting a 4g signal on the Three network?

Lots of problems with the Three network in general, they've gone downhill over the last year, data speeds in many city centers are just awful and 4G will likely be unstable, they call it congestion.

If you spend a lot of time in one of these dead zones you need to change network, it's not the fault of the phone.
