**** The Official OnePlus 3 Thread ****

Lots of problems with the Three network in general, they've gone downhill over the last year, data speeds in many city centers are just awful and 4G will likely be unstable, they call it congestion.

If you spend a lot of time in one of these dead zones you need to change network, it's not the fault of the phone.
Agree with this. I've been with them for years and over the past 6 months their network speed has crashed hugely in my area (Harrow, Middlesex).

In comparison the speeds my wife gets on her OP3 with EE are nuts - 83mbps downstream and 16mb+ upstream iirc. I get equally good speeds via Three on my 6P but in less towns then I used to this same time last year.

O2 have finally got their OnePlus 3 page up and running

With the cheapest tariff (which is only 500MB data) you're looking at paying £672 over the lifetime of the contract, so taking out the cost of the phone it works out as £343 for the tariff, or £14.30 a month.

Not particularly competitive with the option of buying the phone outright and getting a high data, sim only, tariff (I'm currently on a 2GB for £10 a month with Three) but definitely good to see the handset being offered on a UK network (despite being out of stock :p)!

My wife got her S7 through CPW a few weeks ago with either 3 or 4GB of data for £28 a month, granted she had to pay £60 upfront, but given the option between the samsung S7 and the OnePlus 3, i'm sure most customers would go with the well known brand of samsung.

Pretty sure i found an S7 for £24 a month and £30 up front with 1GB of data at the time too.

Doesn't bother most here now anyway, but hopefully when the OnePlus 4 is released they'll not be locked in with o2 still.

Strange choice to go with O2... and the deal sucks.
OnePlus have done so many things right, but sadly this deal isn't one of them.

£336 if you buy the phone on PAYG, which is £7 more than OP directly. I guess it's only good if you're buying the phone outright. OP confirmed the phone will be unlocked and will have no O2 bloatware as well.

Sweet, i think i will buy from o2 and save on delivery time From Oneplus site.
Now i know O2 not put any rubbish on the device from another site :OnePlus did an AMA yesterday on Reddit. This question came up and they confirmed that it will be dual sim still as well as not being locked to the carrier. Here's the excerpt;

Sorry for this not being a strictly software question... I have a few questions about your recent announcement with O2

UK Will the phone still have 2 Sims?

Will the device be locked to O2?

Will there be any O2 bloat installed?

Will you let any carriers install bloat to the phone?

Do you have any plans for expansion into more countrys? (Cough cough Ireland)

The extra £7 will pay for express delivery, and it was mentioned earlier that o2 don't have stock yet.

Though it will be good once you can pick these up in store.

Your better buying online with O2 next day delivery.
If you go into store you have to buy a £10 topup unless your already on O2.

Im ordering online but i got pick a tariff £10payasgo it the only way it will let order it. unless im missing something, Im not on O2 im Three uk
