Maybe it's just mine then. Do you have any strava/nike/runkeeper links you could share?

I use s health and google fit. I don't use strava /Nike /runkeeper. Do you mean links so you can see my visual log?

As I say on the visual log it shows me on the pavement then onto the beach. For me it's accurate enough, whenever I look at it, it lines up with my activity.

Where are you reading that?

On Google Play store reviews.

Plenty complaining about it since the last update.

They aren't relevant really. They're talking about GPS acquiring a signal and auto stop/start, not the actual GPS accuracy.

Mine's accurate enough. It's not accurate in comparison to the iPhone though which was my original point:confused:

OP3 arrived, so far really impressed, just trying to remember all the Android custom settings i like, too long on an iPhone LOL

After 2 days testing the OP3 and the Pixel XL, the Pixel XL is packaged back up and ready to be returned.

Yes, the Pixel is a nice phone and very slightly quicker on benchmarks, but real world usage you would be hard pressed to see any difference imo, it is not worth 'twice the price' to me at least.
Glad I had the opportunity to test them side by side, I will never have that niggling doubt now.

The OP3 feels much in the hand to me and I prefer the whole design.

Need a case, any recommendations?

ive been perfectly happy with my oneplusX but the last update totally screwed it up. OS/launcher just constantly crashes now...so lookin at the 3 as a timely upgrade anyway

OP3 GPS is crap:(

Edit: Saying it's crap is harsh. It's always within 10-15 metres so it's fine for driving. Maybe I should get a dedicated GPS watch/fitbit for running? Heart rate monitoring would be neat too.

a lot of smart phone gps can be hit and miss. i had issues with my old iphone randomly plotting me 20m off course. the accuracy is much less than a dedicated gps device such as a garmin (at least the last time i bothered to look at specs).

i now use a garmin edge 800 but use my op3 as backup in case the garmin has a wobbler.

Try to disable google+. Worked for me.

When it first updated, it was screwed in a different way so disabled google+ and it fixed that...now the laucnher crashes in a different way. It just freezes and i have to wait 10 seconds or so until it gives me the option to wait or close launcher. :/

I stumped up and got the official carbon fiber case from the OnePlus website. Fits really well and is good quality - expensive compared to others but I think well worth it.

Still using the supplied screen protector but open to better suggestions please?
