**** The Official OnePlus 3 Thread ****

Just thought i would share my experience with everyone who is having battery issues or who cant get more than 3/4hrs on time...

My phone came with 3.2.6 and i got the OTA for 3.2.7 which i installed but noticed massive battery drain. 21% an hour in use and around 7% idle which i though was excessive compared to my other phones.

Anyway, as i like to tinker with my phones i screwed up yesterday restoring a twrp image so had to start from fresh.
I downloaded the full rom for 3.2.7 and installed it. I set my phone up and installed all my apps and then i rooted and then added xposed. All was going well and i added my xposed modules. So far so good. Phone is now exactly how i like it.

Anyway, I'm not getting around 5/6hrs onscreen time (thats what i got last night anyway on 50% brightness) so maybe a fresh install of the latest OS is what is required.

No issues to report either. Wifi on 2.4ghz and 5.0ghz works just fine too and even after tinkering and adding xposed modules and what not phone still feels fast.

5 hours screen time for me on my first charge. I have been connected to WiFi all day though. Are people with low screen on times out and about on 3/4g? Could that be the reason it's low?

I've worked out that this is the issue.
Getting 4+ hours screen time when connected to WiFi only but when I'm at work.on 4g I'm lucky to get just over 3

Battery life seems to vary quite a bit. I've had days were I've only got a couple hours screen on time. Yet I unplugged the phone from charge before going to bed the other night and I've not charged it since. Currently it's been almost 34 hours discharging, with 5 hours and 20 minutes screen on time and I've still got 25% battery left.

I've notice on the high drain days I've got apps using lots of battery in the background, so just been closing everything down using the task manager before putting the phone down between uses.
Probably helps that I didn't really leave the house yesterday either

GPS is useless on these.
I don't mean for driving. I'm sure that's fine. I mean for Strava/runkeeper etc.

Loads of threads on xda about it. Not sure whether to go back to iphone or get a dedicated GPS watch instead. I do really like the phone other than this.

My phone has been a battery beast until yesterday. Noticed the battery was down to 18% before going to bed. Usually it's around 50%. Not sure what's going on. Screen time was just over 2hrs which isn't the norm for me at all.

I'm wondering if there is an app zapping the battery life, but then the stats would indicate that?

Well I've ordered a Pixel XL and a OP3 to decide which one will be my IP6 replacement, hopefully here tomorrow.

Thought I'd post in both threads :)
