**** The Official OnePlus 5 Thread ****

Battery life on the OnePlus was terrible imo. Far better on iPhone 7 Plus in my experience. So, not hopeful of it changing with 5.
Terrible don't agree. The battery is on par with other equivalent android phones. And before you say it, yes I am using the oneplus 3 so I can say from experience, so I'm a bit confused that you're saying its from experience.

I'm saying that having owned both that the battery life on iPhone 7 plus is FAR better. Seriously. That's my take on it.

I also agree it's about "on-par" with other plus-sized Android phones. I found the battery life on Nexus 6P to be a bit worse than OP3.

Battery life is fine on the OnePlus 3, 4-5 hours SoT is easy to achieve.

However in contrast to an Axon 7 with a 1440p display there really isn't much difference, so the whole battery saving argument was nonsense at least in this case.

If you want terrible battery life try a Galaxy S6 or some device with Snapdragon 810.

Not interested in iPhone battery life, means nothing to me.

Good camera, good battery. Not overly fussed with ott specs. OK looks like an iphone, which is a shame but still not a bad looking phone. Now if they can keep the price close to the 3T i'll bite and get one (possibly from o2 if they are going to stock it). Will see tomorrow around 5pm i guess.

Would have preferred wide angle over telephoto. Ah well at least it has dual cams. Stereo speakers would be the icing on the cake.

Is the launch at 4pm GMT?
They've been advertising 5pm BST rather than saying GMT. O2 showing same I think.
